NEET UG 2024 will be held on May 5, 2024, for admission to MBBS at Bankura Sammilani Medical College. NEET PG 2024 will be held on March 3, 2024, for admission to MD/ MS at Bankura Sammilani Medical College.

Bankura Sammilani Medical College (BSMC) offers education in the field of Medicine and Surgery. All courses offered by the institute are recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). At present, BSMC offers GNM and B.Sc. Nursing programs at UG level with an intake of 60 and 50 seats per batch respectively.

Bankura Sammilani Medical College (BSMC) offers GNM and B.Sc. in Nursing courses at UG level. Selection of candidates is done as per norm set by the Government of West Bengal, Health & Family Welfare Department.

50% seats under All India Quota will be filled on the basis of NEET PG score.
Candidates who have studied/passed MBBS from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for All India 50% Quota seats.
Only one application is required to be submitted by the candidates. The candidates with multiple applications will be disqualified for the current academic session.

The process of application for UG and PG courses offered by BSMC differ from each other. The detailed application process is as follows:

For UG Courses:

Candidates must visit the official website of the Health and Family Welfare Dept., Govt. of West Bengal and download the application form.
They are required to take a printout of the application form and fill it correctly and in full with all requisite information as asked in the form.
The filled in application form must be sent to the office of the Health and Family Welfare Dept. with all requisite enclosures and a demand draft for the prescribed application fee.

For PG Courses:

The candidates seeking admission to any of the PG programs offered by BSMC can apply via NEET PG through the following steps:
Candidate must sign up for NEET PG Registration by visiting the official website and clicking on the “Register for NEET-PG” link. The Information Bulletin can be downloaded from the website.
The candidates are then required to create a profile using his/her personal and educational details. He/she will also require to create login credentials and preserve the same for future correspondence.
The candidates must furnish valid and authentic contact information. Also, scanned copies of photograph and signature are also required to be uploaded.
The candidates are further required to select test slot and schedule as per their convenient timing.
The application fee for General candidates is INR 3750 while SC/ST candidates are required to pay INR 2750 through the online payment gateway.
The candidates must ensure that mobile numbers, e-mail ID filled in the online Application form are correct and accessible.
