IHMCT was founded in the year 2010 by the Ministry of Tourism and is affiliated with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).

The institute offers a B.Sc programme in Hospitality and Hotel Administration of 3-years duration also a Short term Diploma course of 1.5 years.

To get admission to B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, candidates will have to clear the NCHMCT JEE entrance examination and students with a minimum of 5580 ranks can have admission to the programme.

Ans. No, there is no other process to take admission to IHMCT; selection of candidates shall be done purely on rank obtained in NCHMCT Joint Entrance Examination.

Ans. Yes, there is a residential hostel facility inside the campus; all students admitted for the regular courses can stay in the hostel, 3 students are accommodated in one room.
