Amity School of Communication (ASCO) is offering under-graduation as B.A. in five specializations both—morning and evening, post-graduation as M.A in three disciplines and MBA in Media Management and Media and PR Management along with Ph.D. (research programs) in Mass Communication (both full-time and part-time).
- Applicants to B.A. course should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
- Medium of instruction at Amity is English, hence, English is a mandatory subject at 10+2 level.
- Candidates applying for M.A. program must have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Admission to MBA course is based on graduation degree with having at least 50% marks.
- Applicants to MBA course need to appear for national-level CAT entrance exam or equivalent exams while candidates may also sit for college level entrance on the day of selection.
- Final selection for admission to B.A and M.A. is based on merit in qualifying exam followed by counselling, and interview.
- Student securing 80%+ aggregate in 10+2 are exempted from selection process.
- Amity also offers Ph.D. in Mass communication subject to clearing Master’s or M.Phil exam.
- There will be written test of those who wish to apply for Ph.D. course.
- Candidates who have cleared an All India Examination or NET of UGC / CSIR / ICAR (ASRB) / GPAT / ICMR / GATE shall be exempted from the written part of the selection process.
- However, they will be required to appear for the Personal Interview.
- Applicants will have to fill Amity Application Form to apply for admission to its various programs.
- The Admission Procedure for Post Graduate and Undergraduate Programs will start from January and April, respectively.
- Amity also offers lateral entry to the programs directly in 3rd semester.
