Ques. Does the college provide hostel facilities for the students?
Ans. Yes, the college provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The hostel rooms are allotted on double-sharing basis. All the hostel rooms are well-furnished and equipped with all the facilities. The rooms are well-ventilated and some of them are also sun-facing. The hostels are also Wi-Fi enabled. The intake for boys hostel is 66 students with 14 double-sharing rooms.
Ques. How are the placements of the college?
Ans. The college has it’s own Placement and Information Bureau which ensures that the college establishes good relations with industries and research laboratories. The students are also getting placed in op MNC’s and the corporate world. Some of the leading companies where the students have been placed are Pepsico India Pvt Ltd., Amul, Mother Dairy, Cadbury etc. The placement cell also provides and assists students in their in-plant training before the final placements.
Ques. How much is the fees of the course?
Ans. The BTech course is a four year degree course. The fees for the first year is around INR 42770. The fees for the second year is INR 18100, and third year is INR 32800. Whereas, the fees for the fourth year is INR 32800. The fees is subjected to changes as per the category of the students.
Ques. What all activities are available for the students of the college?
Ans. As a part of the curriculum, the students have to opt for either National Cadet Corps, National Service Scheme or National Sports Organization. Hence, the students have to opt for either of them within 15 days of the registration.
Ques. How is the food quality in the canteen?
Ans. The canteen of the college provides various varieties of food options. The desi food items are cooked in desi ghee and prepared keeping in mind the nourishment content. North Indian dishes are also available at cheaper rates. Food items are also prepared taking into consideration those who are health conscious and allergic to certain food items. Various beverages are also served as per the season and availability.
Ques. Are the students provided work exposure during the normal course of curriculum?
Ans. The college has it’s own ‘milk parlour’. The students of the college manufacture milk and milk products and send it to the milk parlour for sale. This helps them in gaining practical knowledge and also helps them in gainining exposure. Skilled professionals are also there to assist the students.
