Admissions to the various UG, P G, and Diploma programmes at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Ernakulam, with a variety of specializations, are determined by the results of KEAM exams. The Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) for admission to engineering and pharmacy colleges across Kerala. IIET offers the BTech program as its popular course. KEAM is conducted as two different paper, Paper 1 (Physics and Chemistry) and Paper 2 (Mathematics). Candidates interested in engineering admissions must appear for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

How To Apply?

  • Application fee should be remitted to the following account through any online mode, and the UTR/Transaction number should be noted.
  • Open the Online Application Portal by clicking the ‘Apply Now’ tab below.
  • The page will contain all the courses in which candidates can secure admission. Choose the suitable Diploma / Under Graduate / Post Graduate course. Fill in all the details that are relevant and tick the checkbox as required. All mandatory items must be filled in; otherwise, the online application form may not be saved.
  • Please note that only those who want to avail of the facility of College Hostel / College bus need to tick the checkbox of Hostel and College bus.
  • Scroll down and fill up the Educational details
  • Enter the UTR number/Transaction ID in the Transaction ID/ Receipt Number column.
  • Upload the Photo
  • Only passport-size photos should be uploaded. To upload the photo, click on ‘choose file’ and select photos. Wait till the orange color in the column turns green color. Click on the ‘upload button’. The photo is now uploaded.
  • After entering all the details put a tick mark in the checkbox of the ‘declaration option ‘and then click on the ‘save’ button. Then a verification pop-up will open. Check whether all the details entered by you are correct. If yes then tick the verification check box and submit. If you want to change any information, click on the ‘Edit button’, correct it, and submit.

How to Apply for KEAM?

  • To access the KEAM application form candidates need to login with their credentials.
  • Along with course selection and preference of KEAM 2024 exam centers is selected,
  • Candidates need to upload their photograph and signature in jpeg format and in the prescribed dimension & size.
  • After filling out the application form a fee payment is required for the same.
  • A printout of the application form after fee payment, along with the transaction receipt is required to be taken out by the candidate for their future reference.
