Thiagarajar College, in Madurai in the state of Tamil Nadu was established in 1949. The college is a private, aided, co-educational institution affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. It is managed by the Kalaithanthai Karumuttu Thiagarajan Chettiar Memorial Trust. Thiagarajar College offers courses in both Self finance and Aided streams.

Thiagarajar College offers 11 undergraduate courses and 8 courses are offered at postgraduate level. The institute also offers 4 M.Phil. courses and Ph.D. programs. In self finance stream, 8 UG, 5 PG, and 5 M.Phil courses are offered. Additionally, 12 certificate and 11 diploma courses are also offered in self-finance stream.

The application process for all the courses is conducted in offline mode.
For UG courses, candidates must have passed HSC from a recognized institute with the concerned subject.

At Postgraduate level Thiagarajar College offers MA, M.Sc and M.Com courses, each of two years duration. Minimum eligibility for admission to PG courses is graduation in the concerned discipline.

Thiagarajan College has strict rules regarding attendance, assignments, projects, and placements. Using mobile phones during lectures is also restricted. Other than these, Thaiagarajar college offers an enjoyable campus experience. The college doesn’t have a strict dress code, and casuals are allowed. The weekends are off. The college also encourages students to explore their interests outside traditional academics.

Thiagarajar College Of Engineering (TCE) Madurai is affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE. It offers 8 undergraduate programs, 15 postgraduate programs and doctoral programs in the fields of Engineering and Technology and Science and Architecture. It ranked 64th for BTech in the engineering category by NIRF 2020.

Admission Requirements
