- The faculty member are great, they help the students in solving their doubts, they have immense knowledge in fhe subjects, they provide us notes and handouts for better understanding of the subjects, they are really friendly and guide us
- One more thing which i liked is our library which is the most beautiful and peaceful place to study in a studious environment.
- They also help us to fill several other scholarships from the government like swami vivekananda scholarships etc.
Dislikes
- Some of the boring lectures make it difficult to understand the subjects
- The most stupid thing is we can go to sports arena only when our morning section timings are that is 6:15 to 10:15 AM , after that we cannot go to Sports arena
- Some things are not good like the environment and all

The curriculum is very realistic and necessary for every person in this world, irrespective of what they are studying. This course teaches so much about finances, business and commerce as a whole. I would suggest this course to all.
The faculty members are really experienced and helpful. The only problem here is that the behaviour is a bit invalid and not justified. They teach well and college classes are enough for passing. No need for tuitions.

After 5th semesters students become eligible for campus placement, but placement doesn't usually take place in mass numbers in this college. I want to pursue higher studies like MBA and wants to make my career in finance

The faculty is good for students who are seniors but for those who are freshers are very pathetic but otherwise it's good and the teaching and mentoring part will be more accurate and the teachers are not interacting.
Read Full ReviewPlacement of our college is pretty okay. Students who have good knowledge in their course and field gets good placement by the college. Average package is around 6-7lakhs per annum. I'm doing professional course so my main focus is in my professional course.
I got the admission in this college on the basis of my class 12th result. Application form has to be filled online and also payment of fees where done digitally. Their is reservation benifits for gujrati students.
Read Full ReviewThe exams are held twice a year one other midsems and the final exam and there are assignments and tutorial exams in between It prepare just for the real life applications as it teaches us about taxation law accounting management and gives as the opportunities to do internships and practical training with real life case studies and projects but one should not do BCom alone because it it does not pay well after graduation and the probability of placement is quite low
After semester 6 year eligible for placement the average package is of around 10 lakhs per annum which course all the way to 25 lakh per annum around 20 30 companies visit the campus Every year. Students with a good CGPA get placements in good companies like Deloitte Google etc
Read Full ReviewThe course and the curriculum that is assigned to you is very specific to the particular degree that you have chosen and the professors will try their best to use the real life examples and make sure that but you are taught is useful in actual practical life. I wouldn't say there are much areas where they could be an improvement but I feel a little bit more focus on individual subject attention could be ready useful the additional of subjects like constitutional values is a great touch even for the BCom students . We end up studying not just accountancy but also environmental studies constitutional values English at every level. One place I feel there could be UN improvement is providing the students with reading materials when it comes to English and proper reading materials it could be Shakespeare it could be Sylvia .
There are various employment of authorities available you get a lot of internships you get internships almost like four five in one particular semester and you can choose what you want to do there are lots of free courses also available full stop the college themselves conduct them like MS word MS Excel the entire MS office and hence it helps us secure better jobs in case there is a lack of employment available you can definitely apply in the college . You can get internship in The deals office as per your merit and you can take part in organising the events.

Both Bhawanipur Education Society and Shri Shikshayatan are reputed colleges in Kolkata. They admit their students on a merit basis. Their cut off is usually high but if you have average scores you will get a chance in their 2nd or 3rd lists.
Shri Shikshayatan is an all girls college and requires a better academic record. Both colleges are more or less the same. They differ in infrastructure, faculty and overall fees. Shri Shikshayatan has better infrastructure than Bhawanipur with better well maintained buildings, auditorium, gym and swimming pool.
Bhawanipur encourages students to join their college clubs and committees, they believe in the holistic development of the students along with academics. The college hosts, organizes and takes part in several inter-college festivals, cultural activities, competitions, etc. which take place all year long. If you prefer being around such activities then Bhawanipur is the right place for you.
The choice entirely depends on the individual and where his or her interests lie. Both are reputed institutions, so you will enjoy the perks these brands offer, you just have to choose what interests you more. A culturally active college or a college mostly inclined towards academics.

Studying at Amity University will cost you more than the other two colleges.
Scottish Church College is one of the oldest colleges in Kolkata and is well-known for its good faculty. The selection for the B.Com program is done based on the result of 10+2 and the course fee is 51,986/- per year.
Bhawanipur Education Society Kolkata has a great environment for academics. The college has a good infrastructure. - Comparatively the government colleges are better as they mark double-digit marks.
