Surendranath Evening College admission 2023 for UG programs will begin on July 01. The last date for submission of application forms for UG programs is July 15, 2023. Interested candidates can apply online on the official portal. The merit list for UG programs will be released by July 20 and admissions will be completed by July 31, 2023.

Surendranath Evening College was established in 1961 Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It is affiliated with the University of Calcutta. It offers undergraduate courses under Departments of Science, Arts, and Commerce. Surendranath Evening College was established with four most essential subjects- Bengali, English, Hindi and now offers Science and Commerce courses too.

The college conducts online application process for all its courses.
Admissions to all undergraduate courses are done on the basis of merit list of aggregate marks obtained in Class XII examination.
Candidates are given admission to the first year if they have passed XII in General or Vocational Stream conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination.

Candidate seeking honours course in a subject must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in the related subject at the previous qualifying examination
Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category taking Honours Course must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate or 40% marks in the related subjects.

Applicants are required to fill in online applications for taking admission. Following is the process to fill online application form for Surendranath Evening College:

Fill the application form with all the required fields carefully.
Upload the scanned copy of Photo, Signature, and other documents.
Submit the application fee and submit the form.
The admission fee is INR 110 for B.Sc. Honours, INR 85 for B.Sc. General, INR 85 for B.Com. Honours, INR 80 for B.Com. General and INR 75 and 50 for B.A. Honours and General respectively.

Age verification certificate e.g. admit card of class-X

A certificate of character from the Head of the Institution last attended
Migration Certificate
Other relevant documents, as may be considered necessary by the college admission board.

Note: Admission will be considered as cancelled if students fail to report within the scheduled date for documents verification. Admission of students from other Universities or Board is liable to cancellation provided they fail to submit the migration certificate in time.
