St. Xavier’s College was inaugurated in 1944 and is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is an autonomous college affiliated to Gujarat University. St. Xaviers Ahmedabad offers many UG and PG courses in its curriculum viz. B.Com. BPS, BCA, BSc, BA, MSc BDA, MSc and MA.

Candidates have to apply online through the official website of the college separately for each course.
The eligibility criteria for admission to any UG program is 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized board.
The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to any PG course is graduation in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
Candidates must hold a B.Sc degree to get admission in M.Sc and a BA degree or equivalent to get admission to MA program.
Admission to any UG and PG course is given on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
The college provides a scholarship to the economically weak students on the basis of their academic performance and also considering their co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

St Xavier's College Ahmedabad M.Sc, BDA, M.Sc and MA Admission 2023

St. Xavier’s College runs MSc BDA, M.Sc with three specializations and MA in English at the PG level.

Students who have completed graduation degree course or equivalent in relevant discipline from a recognized university are considered eligible for admission to any of these courses. Selection in any of the PG courses is done on the basis of the merit in the qualifying examination.

Remarks:

I got my admission through merit-based. For getting admission, students should get a booklet for registration. Then do a choice filling for your college. once your number is on the merit list you have to go to that particular institution for verification.

There is no admission exam, you just have to fill in the form from the site of the college & you can apply for the college, & if you get the name in the merit list you can take admission in the college by paying the fees of the 1st sam

Application forms can be found on sxca website when they are accepting admissions. Admission was based on a merit list and the merit list was based on class 12 marks. In addition to traditional admission methods, such as entrance exams and interviews, colleges can consider alternative methods such as portfolio reviews, essays, and recommendations. This can help to identify students who may not perform well on traditional tests but have other strengths and talents.

My experience at st Xaviers ahmedabad (bca)

Remarks:

Eligibility is 10+2 for any stream. The total admission process is online. Students can apply for BCA through the college website with 450/- registration fees. Within a month college announce merit. In the 2022 year merit for the general was 89% and for obc it was 85%. They didn't take the entrance exam. Of any stream, students can apply for it. There is a special quota for the Christian student. Christian students are eligible at 45%. The admission process takes time about a month after the application form so I think it should be done within 15 days after the application is closed.
