Haringhata Mahavidyalaya is located in Nadia and was established in 1986. It is a co – educational college which is recognized by UGC and affiliated to the University of Kalyani.

Accredited by NAAC with a B Grade, Haringhata Mahavidyalaya offers BA, B.Sc. and B.Com for admissions to students from socially backward classes. . 

Admissions are based on merit. Students must have passed 10+2 examinations with a minimum aggregate of 45% and certain combination of subjects, depending upon the choice of course.

There is also a placement cell that invites reputed companies each year, to offer on-campus placements to eligible students. 

The institute offers scholarships to SC and ST students, which can be availed by submitting an application, that is available at the university’s office.

  • Candidates should fill in the required field with accurate information and submit the application form on or before the date of admission which will be announced shortly
  • The candidates are requested to apply after checking the eligibility criteria carefully
  • Post submitting the form, candidate will be taken to the payment portal where they have to pay the registration fees through Net Banking / Credit card / Debit Card
  • Then the students can take a print out of the application form and payslip for future use.

Note: Candidates who are called for admission should take along the print out of the online application, online fee receipt, mark sheets, category certificate, residential certificate, etc. They must arrive on the announced date of admission with the original documents and certificates.

  • General Courses: For General courses, merit list prepared based on the Best of five.
