At the UG level, the college provides various courses under Aided and Self-supporting categories. Under the Aided category, the college offers B.A, B.Com and B.Sc programme while the self-supporting category comprises of B.A, BBA, B.Com (Gen), B.Com (Hons) and B.Sc. courses. At the UG level, the BCA programme is also offered by the college. Duration of all the bachelor degree programs is three years. Interested candidates in any of the UG courses need to pass 10+2 level in the relevant discipline to fulfill the required eligibility criteria. 

Admission to UG courses under both the categories (AIded and Self-supporting) is done on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying 10+2 examination in the relevant discipline. Failing to meet the eligibility criteria will lead to the elimination of the candidates from the admission process.

Ethiraj College For Women offers several postgraduate programmes in various fields such as Arts, Science and Commerce etc. The college provides M.A, M.Sc and M.Com degree courses within Aided as well as Self-supporting category. Candidates willing to apply for Master degree courses in both the categories must have secured a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized institute/university.

Admission in PG courses (Aided and Self-supporting) is done on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying degree examination in relevant discipline. Failing to meet the eligibility criteria will lead to the elimination of the candidates from the admission process.

Registration for PG programmes offered by Ethiraj College for Women will commence from May. Candidates can apply by filling the application form online or download the application form and submit it upon completion along with the processing fee at the university office in person. 

The college offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) program at the postgraduate level to the interested candidates. The duration of the MBA and MCA program is two and three years, respectively. In case of MBA programme, candidates need to possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. However, a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with Mathematics or Statistics as a core subject at 10+2 level is required for the MCA programme.

Candidates seeking admission to MBA and MCA programme offered by Ethiraj College of Women will be required to appear for an admission test i.e. Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET), conducted by Anna University of Tamilnadu. To apply for TANCET, candidates should log on to the official examination website.

Candidates seeking admission can download the application form available at the official college website and should be submitted in person upon completion along with the registration fee of INR 600 through demand draft (DD). DD should be drawn in favor of “Ethiraj College MBA/MCA A/C” payable at Chennai and must be submitted to the MBA-MCA Section, Trust Office, Ethiraj College for Women (Autonomous).

At the time of interview, the following documents must be submitted in original:

6. Medical Fitness Certificate

Note: Students registering for MBA are required to enclose a “Statement of Purpose” along with the application form. It should outline your vision, career objectives, personality traits, strengths & weaknesses that you feel would influence your course of study & career, purpose of the programme applied for.
