Florida International University Scholarships

International students planning to study at Florida International University are eligible for an array of scholarships based on academic merit. While applying for merit-based aid at FIU, international students need to submit an essay and 2 letters of recommendation. Scholarships at FIU are as follows:

• Presidential Premier scholarship - Students with a GPA of 4.0 and SAT score of 1370 or 30 ACT are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Eligible applicants are awarded 100% tuition, fees and cost of books and study materials.
• Ambassador Premier Scholarship -  Candidates with a 4.0 GPA and a 1280 SAT/ACT score of 27 are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The scholarship award value covers 75% tuition and fees and expenses for books.
