Mission

The mission of Kent State University is to discover, create, apply and share knowledge, as well as to foster ethical and humanitarian values in the service of Ohio and the global community. Medical technologists are trained to perform complex chemical, microscopic and microbiological procedures. Graduates are eligible for the Board of Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists Exam. This degree is offered by the Department of Biological Sciences.
