I am pursuing btech (CSE) from this college, I have gone for this college because of the placement rate of this college. This college is started in 2017 and and 1st batch was going with 100% placement and if we talk about this year (2023) recently 3 students selected in autodest with 39lpa. Faculty: you will not be satisfied with faculty, I don't understand anything about what they are teaching and if you know, you know YouTube is the boss. Exams: recently last month there conducted mid sem exams and questions were from last year mid mid-semester pyq so that was easy.
I am pursuing a b.tech from iiit Bhagalpur. I have been admission to this college through the Jee mains entrance exam this year. Cut off for the CSE branch in 2023 there was a closing rank in csab about 61K. In the Admission process firstly you need to take jee main entrance exam and after scoring a good rank you should join counseling (JOSAA or CSAB). If you get into any college in josaa and you want to pursue that college then you don't need to join csab and if you don't get into any college or your preferred branch in Josaa then you can join in csab.after selecting a college you need to do physical reporting in your college that information you will get on their own website.
Read Full ReviewFrom 7 sem students are eligible. Approx 30 companies visit in my college. The highest package is 45-46 lpa and avg is 14-15 lpa. According to 2023 details 100% were placed. I have decided to not go for placement else go for higher education.
I took an entrance exam JEE Mains and I cleared the exam and got my rank. then there is a councelling program JOSAA which provides the colleges according to your rank and your category. A total of 6 rounds were there in JOSAA councelling. You can't come to IIIT Bhagalpur without JEE Main so you have to give this entrance exam. If you have a category you get quota in the councelling (you can get the colleges at lower rank). I think that the admission process is good no need for improvement
Read Full ReviewFrom the seventh semester students are allowed to sit on placements. There will be around 100+ companies visiting our campus. The most popular companies are Amazon, Zscaler, Microsoft, Byjus and so on. The highest package for this year is 40LPA.
For this year it closed around 93% for mechatronics. The campus building is not yet completed. So, the classes are going on at Bhagalpur Engineering College. There will be a reservation benefit available for some states. You can check it out on iiitbh official website.
Read Full ReviewThe placement in our college is awesome the highest package that was offered was 46 lpa to 7 students and the lowest was 7 lpa. The average was 16 lpa and the median is above 10 lpa. This data is from 2022.
You can get admission to IIIT Bhagalpur by taking an entrance exam Joint Entrance Exam (JEE). If you crack jee a secure a decent rank you can easily get admission through counseling like jossa or csab.
Read Full ReviewSo far as the placement in this college is concerned students start grabbing high packages from the very start of their fourth year .. internships and freelance they can start from the end of their second year. The highest package offered till now is 46 lpa and the average package of this college is quite good that is above 15 and hoping for an increment this year. So far as the percentage of the students who get placed in their fourth year is concerned this number is very satisfactory from the point of view of the students who are pursuing their degree from here as the number crosses 98% which is almost impossible to believe but this is the reality it's because of the awesome coding culture of this college that the students are getting good packages and internships.
To gain admission into IIIT BHAGALPUR you have to clear jee main exam with a good percentile for general above 96 for obc above 94 and for SC/ST above 85. College placements are awesome and this college will definitely help you develop yourself in all possible dimensions.

- A new institute has a lot to prove to the general public regarding its quality in placement and opportunities. IIIT Bhagalpur is on its preparation for the same over the years, trying to prove itself.
- IIT Guwahati is the mentor institute of IIIT Bhagalpur. Being a premier institute in the country, it is expected that IIT Guwahati will turn IIIT Bhagalpur into an institute with proper recognition and importance.
- IIIT Bhagalpur receives enough funds from the government for its growth and development in infrastructure, just because of the IIIT tag. Such funds are enough for any institute to set an excellent environment and learning conditions for engineering studies.
Therefore, IIIT Bhagalpur would be a good choice for CSE, and the institute will be on the list of the top engineering colleges in India over the next few years.
They have a lack of experienced faculty members, the labs are not well maintained and during the rainy season, it floods creating a lot of problems. They lack a proper library, hostel, and internet connection. Being a small city it is heavily crowded.
