Veer Kunwar Singh University (VKSU) has 18 constituent colleges and 66 affiliated colleges offering UG, PG and Doctoral Level programs in the field of Arts, commerce, Science, Law, and Humanities. Admissions to most of the VKSU programs are based on the scores obtained in the course-specific Entrance/Admission Test conducted by the university or the Academic Merit of the Applicant. To apply for any of the courses application forms need to be filled online through official site of the university. Only those applicants who achieve the cutoff scores are then invited to counselling, where they can select their desired college and programme based on their ranking and the number of seats available. For B.Ed, admission is done on the basis of Bihar B.Ed CET scores and counselling. Admissions to VKSU PhD course is based on the PhD Entrance Test PAT and interview conducted by the university. VKSU UG Admission 2023

The university offers BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, B.Ed & LL.B programs in various streams. The minimum eligibility is a pass in 10+2 from any recognized board with at least 50% marks in aggregate. However, the eligibility for B.Ed and LLB program is Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline. Admissions to B.Ed program is based on Bihar B.Ed CET scores and counseling. The candidates who satisfy the minimum eligibility requirements are eligible to appear in the entrance exam conducted by VKSU. The seats for different UG programs will be allotted by VKSU based on the candidates’ performance in the entrance exam.

Key Points:

Candidates’ age should not be more than 30 years (35 years for SC/ST) at the time of admission in LL.B program.
For minimum eligibility requirement, rounding off & normalization of marks will not be considered.

VSKU PG Admission 2023

Candidates with a relevant Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for MA, M.Com, MCA, MBA & M.Sc programs. Students have to qualify in the VKSU entrance test to secure admission in these courses. The final admission is offered on the basis of entrance score followed by counselling.

VKSU Ph.D. Admission 2023

For admission to VKSU PhD programs, students have to qualify in Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT). The test will comprise of two papers of 100 marks each. The first paper will consist of an objective type test with 50 questions of two marks each. The second paper will be of 15 subjective type questions of 10 marks each.

The application form for all the courses offered by VKSU except for B.Ed program can be filled online by following the given steps:

Visit the official website of VKSU and click on ‘Apply Online’ link.
Register yourself by entering the required information.
They will be led to the application form.
Fill in the details and upload the necessary documents.
Pay the application fee.
On successful application, the candidates will receive a confirmation e-mail from the University.
Appear and clear the exam.
Admission process will complete with document verification and fees payment.

What are the drawbacks of Veer Kunwar Singh University, Ara, Bihar?

Veer Kunwar Singh University is an average institution in Bihar, The management department was formed to help students but take advantage of them instead. They do not pay attention to the students' queries and are very uncooperative.

The security guards lack discipline, the students usually take the responsibility to enter the time sheet.

The staff step into the university campus after 10 o’Clock and sit in their cabin by 10:30 AM, none of them are eligible to hold the position.

The help-line is open yet it doesn't function properly. If you make a query even if they receive the phone calls they seem to make excuses and hang up.

Students enrolled for 17–19 sessions (of all the subjects) appear for the last year's exam in 2020 and get the result in 2021. This means the student will have to waste two years of his life to get the degree.

None of the affiliated colleges have professors who are exceptional at their own subject. There is no grievance cell or a counseling department.
