Gore Lal Mehta College was established in 1955.  The college has a well-qualified teaching staff fully devoted to teaching and research. At present the college imparts teaching in undergraduate level in Arts and Science faculties.

The college, besides traditional courses has vocational courses like BCA also. Sports, N.C.C. and N.S.S. units, cultural activities along with educational background have enriched the student’s identity; it has shown a new zenith of life. College always encourages student for participating in various activities and Students also actively participated in activities and won various prizes too.  The college has two departments – Arts & Science.
