Click on the “SKUAST-J Common Entrance Test (CET)-2020” link and fill the form carefully with valid credentials.
In the first part, fill in all the personal details cautiously and in the second part, fill in your educational details. Make sure the name and other details are filled in BLOCK LETTERS.
In the next step, add your photograph and signature as required.
Verify all the details and finally, submit the form.
The application fee of INR 1800 is now to be paid via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
Take print out of the confirmation page(s) of the online application format and preserve it for future reference.
The Admit Card can be downloaded from the University website.

Counselling Process

The candidates must come for counseling along with all documents in original, a set of attested copies of all documents, the admit card issued by SKUAST-J and a counselling fee of INR 1000 (nonrefundable). The documents include:

Date of birth certificate (Matriculation certificate)
Marks certificate of qualifying examination
Category certificate, if applicable

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized statutory Board/University with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for General Category and 40% for Reserved category in the following subjects:

Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English.
Agriculture with Science subjects and English

Admission Guidelines

Entrance Test through SKUAST-Jammu.
Entrance Test through ICAR (For Free seats only)
On nomination of inservice candidates through state govt. (only free seats)
By the University itself on the basis of merit in 10+2 or equivalent examination

Course Details

SKUAST, Jammu offers a B.Sc. course with specializations in Agriculture and Biotechnology and a B.V.Sc course both full-time and for a duration of 3 years.

B.Sc (Hons)	Biotechnology	Passed 10+2 or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
B.V.Sc. & AH	-	Passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in PCB

A 10% relaxation of marks is granted to reserved category candidates.
Candidates must be 17 years old on or before 31.12.2020.
ICAR scores can be considered for admission against free seats and self-financing seats (State Domicile).
