Course Information

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate seeking admission to 2 Years Full-Time MBA Program must have completed Gradutaion with minimum of 50% marks from a recognised University or an equivalent examination.

Course Details

The MBA degree at CUHP is a full-time interdisciplinary program with an annual intake of 90 students. The students have the liberty of custom-designing their own program within set guidelines.

Completion of MBA degree requires earning of 80 PG credits in 4 semesters. A student who opts to leave the program after successful completion of two semesters and 40 PG credits, is awarded an Advanced Diploma in Management.

CUHP also offers a MBA in Travel and Tourism Management through the Department of Tourism and Travel Management

Eligibility

MBA applicants should have completed a Bachelor’s/ UG degree or equivalent from a recognized University.
They should have scored a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the qualifying exam.
Applicants are required to appear for the CUHP conducted PG Entrance Test FEAT.

Selection Criteria

CUHP admits students on the basis of merit in the composite score taking together academic record, Further Education Admission Test (FEAT) Score, and Group Discussion (GD)/ Personal Interview (PI).
Three consequent selection lists are released after the declaration of the Admission Test results, on the basis of which students can register for admission

Pros: It has a residential campus with hostel accommodation. The campus has high-speed wifi connection, including the hostels. Faculty for PG courses are quite good as compared to Central University of Himachal Pradesh. The lab facilities offered are adequate. The location of the university is convenient as it is well-connected to Delhi via trains and buses. Cons: The administration is not that cooperative. Since the selection procedure is not that difficult, the student crowd is not very competitive. Food offered at the hostels is not good. The transport facilities are also not that good. This should give a brief idea about Central University of Haryana.

The quality of education at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh is quite good. The faculties are well-qualified and cooperative. The environment on campus is ideal for studies. Most of the alumni of the institute are well-settled in reputed PSUs. This institute is a great option if you want decent academics with minimal course fees. However, if you want to get more industrial exposure in your field, you will need to take the initiative by yourself.
