Ques. I have a gap of 5 years after my B. Com degree. Am I ineligible for admission into the CUHP MBA program?
Ans. Admission of candidates seeking admission after a gap of three or more academic years after their last academic qualification from either CUHP or any other University requires clearance from the Admission
Review Committee comprising of the Dean, Students' Welfare (DSW), the Dean of the School concerned, the HOD concerned, and the Proctor. So, you can apply, but whether you are accepted or not, will depend on the decision of the Review Committee.
Ques. Do I need to submit a Migration certificate at the time of registration?
Ans. Yes, you are required to submit Transfer/ Migration Certificate in original to the university. However, this submission is not required at the time of registration, but within 30 days from the date of admission, failing which, the admission will be cancelled.
Ques. Will I be allowed to be employed while pursuing a full-time program at the CUHP?
Ans. Full-time students of CUHP are not allowed to take up a job employment without prior approval of the university authorities. Such approval is provided to only sponsored candidates who submit an NOC from the employer stating that the concerned candidates have been granted study leave for the duration of the program and is allowed to undertake obligatory work placement towards the fulfillment of the course requirement.
Ques. Does the university accept international students? If yes, then what are the basic admission guidelines for such students?
Ans. Yes, the University accepts international students.
CUHP fills 15% of its program intake as Supernumerary Seats with Foreign Nationals, Non-Resident Indians, and Persons of Indian Origin candidates.
- Such candidates are not required to qualify the university entrance test. However, they need to fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions for admission.
- Additionally, they may be required to qualify internationally accepted aptitude tests like SAT/GMAT/GRE/TOEFL etc.
- Admission is granted on either academic merit or internationally conducted aptitude test scores.
- Such candidates are required to submit their application along with the certified copies of documents, to the office of the Foreign Students Advisor (FSA).
- Applications are received on a rolling basis, though no later than April 30 for the current academic session.
Ques. Will the university send me an acceptance letter?
Ans. No, CUHP will not send any notification or acceptance letter to students who are selected for admission. List of selected students for admission will be uploaded on the university website and applicants will have to check the same to know their application status.
