In our college we have a training and placement cell that manages all placement-related activities student who is in 3rd yr is eligible for PPO but placement is for 4th yr students. In the previous year, 81 job offers out of 58 students with 89.65% placed in Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, jio, etc. The highest package is 26.1lpa and the avg. The package is 13lpa. I want to join Amazon and prepare for UPSC.
Currently, I am pursuing my B.tech at IIIT Kalyani in the computer science branch. Applicant must complete their 10+2 study with PCM. And must crack the JEE entrance examination with 96 percentile. From the official website of NTA, applicants get the form. Also available are reservation benefits for SC, ST, OBC A, and OBC B categories.
Read Full ReviewFrom 3rd sem, they are eligible for placements. top companies are jio, tcs, Infosys, Wipro, quorum, etc highest package - is 26.4 lpa, and - 12.7 lap. Most of the time above 90% of students get placements. My plan is to get a placement.
You have to appear in JEE mains exam (after the 12th). You can find the application form on the NTA official website. If you score between 26,000 to 50,000, you can get admission to this college (for CSE) (Jossa and CSAB round rank ). Admission mode is online. Some of the major IT Companies such as Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, IBM, PWC, Yellowclass, Samsung, Ericsson, Goldman Sachs, ShareChat, OLA, Mihup, TCG, Deloitte, Jio, Capgemini, MAQ Software, and many more, have recruited students from this Institute. It is a calm, peaceful, and productive place to study, with a student-friendly atmosphere all around. 90 %+ are students placed in different companies I want to o placed in top companies like Wipro, Microsoft, and Google after my degree.
To gain admission for the iiit kalyani we need to write one exam called JEE mains. I wrote jee mains 2023 then I got 70 %ile. I am from the st category that's why I got set in the last round of Josaa. After the results, there is we need to fill the web options college-wise one by one. I did that there are 6 rounds in Josaa. In the 6th round, I got admission in IIIT Kalyani. In jee mains we should want above 90%ile for the general and OBC category. For sc and St category students. Want 70%ile to 80%ile in this range.
Read Full ReviewI chose this course cause I love coding. Student of faculty ratio is 14:1. All the faculty members are Ph.D., Diploma, and Degree holders. There are 5-15 lectures per week. Those lectures are mostly stuck to the textbook. Teachers help students with resources. Term exams happen on time and if you follow the whatever teacher taught in class then it becomes easy to pass.
1st you have to pass the JEE Exam. Then after counseling, if you got this college, go and check out the official website of IIIT-KALYANI for the admission date and the fee structure. You can complete your fee structure online and offline.

We have 2 exams per semester. difficulty depends upon the faculty and time taken to complete the course and they will accordingly set the paper what they taught in the classroom.
Completed class 12th with PCM. Given JEE Mains and scored a decent percentile according to category. Participated in JOSSAA/CSAB counseling and then got selected for this college there is a reservation based on your category. Chose this course because i always wanted to become a software engineer. There are good no. of faculties here. Faculties have good knowledge about their particular courses. We have 2 exams per semester. Almost 90k is our tuition fee per semester.

Read Full ReviewStudents from the 6th semester are eligible to sit in the placement examination. Many companies like- jio MAQ, Infosys, Wipro, Vitusa, TCS, etc. Last year we got the highest package at 26.4 lpa and an average of 12.76 lpa.
To get admission to this college you have to take Jee main examination. For general students, you have to rank around the 96 percentile for cse branch. now you have to sit in Josaa and if u are selected you may proceed to apply here. you can find the list of required things on IIIT Kalyani's official website. This college is government-funded so there is no criteria for reservation benefit. The admission process is pretty clean.

If you want to be admitted in this college, firstly you have to take the JEE Mains exam, through this admission takes place, Through JOSSA AND CSAB counselling you take admission to this college Application form should be in website o f iiit kalyani. The college fees are nearly twelve lakh only There is no reservation on any basis of caste, home state, etc The admission process is very simple. Not any complexity.

First I cleared the JEE MAINS then applied for josaa counseling. I also went in the josaa spot round then I got into the Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani West Bengal and eligibility is set by nta.

IIIT Guwahati is way better than IIIT Kalyani. Many of the students who were formerly enrolled in IIIT Kalyani. They left the college after analyzing the faculty, infrastructure, and hostel facilities.
My brother was in NIT Silchar before being a part of IIIT Guwahati. He went there and found out that many students were from IIIT Kalyani. Everyone has different reasons for leaving Kalyani. However, none of them were praising IIIT Kalyani.
On the other hand, they were pleased to join IIIT Guwahati. Some factors that make IIITG a better institute than IIIT Kalyani:
- Faculty to student ratio is very good
- Great infrastructure
- Good hostel and sports facilities
- Better academic syllabus as they follow their mentor institute IITG and IIITH
- Location of the institute
Hence, you can definitely go for IIITG as an institute rather than joining IIIT Kalyani. As far as the branches are concerned, CSE and ECE are totally different. But, at the end of the day, you have to decide which college you want to join. If you give more preference to the branch, you should join IIIT Kalyani but if you feel like you can slide or change your branch after the first year, you can join IIITG.
Someone else's package doesn't guarantee that you'll also bag the same package. Out of mentioned options, NIT Patna is a better option not because of the 40 lakh package. The placement package had been offered by Adobe which is said to recruit 2 ladies each offering 20 lakh packages to each. But in 2018, Adobe hired a female student offering her 40 LPA package, which can be true or even wrong information. However, you should not take admission in NIT Patna just because someone bagged a 40 Lakh package. The package will depend on your dedication during the course. It will help you easily earning a 6-8 LPA package.

While there is no doubt that NIT Patna is an old institution, yet it lacks some of the basic facilities such as hostels and open spaces. The campus is quite small as compared to other engineering colleges. So, it does not feel like a proper campus to some students as they have to spend 4 years there.
In the present time, a mega hostel is being constructed but it is outside the campus. The locality surrounding the campus is very unpleasant.The good thing is that the campus is located beside Ganga, having some modern and beautiful ghats. The management and staff are strict and less creative.
If you are considering pursuing higher education at IIIT Naya Raipur, it's important to evaluate the placement opportunities and other factors to ensure it aligns with your career goals. Here are some points to consider:
