Answ.Yes, the college does offer Hostel Facilities. The selected candidate can report for registration on the program commencement date. Candidates will not be allowed to register for the program/hostel 10 days post the commencement date under any circumstances. Due to limited seats, hostel accommodation is not offered to applicants from Delhi and NCR.Hostel Fee (if applicable): INR. 85,000/- (Non AC) per annum, INR. 1,60,000/- (AC) per annum has to be paid at the time of admission (Mess charges on an actual basis).

Amity University application form can be filled out online or can be obtained from the respective university campuses on payment of INR 1500 as the application fee.
Amity University conducts Amity JEE to offer admission to the B.Tech course.
Candidates with a valid score in NATA/ JEE Main Paper II are eligible to apply for admission to the B.Arch course.
Apart from the university-based test for admission to MBA, candidates with a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/NMAT are also eligible to apply.
Admission to other UG and PG courses is offered directly on the basis of the Written Test as well as an English language test followed by GD or PI. Amity University Noida also accepts CUET for admission to its UG programs
A course-based written test/ creative test/ physical test is conducted wherever required.
Admission to M.Phil, Ph.D., and Psy. D. is based on candidates’ performance in academics followed by an Amity entrance test and an interview.
UGC NET/CSIR/ICAR (ASRB)/GPAT/ICMR/GATE/DST-INSPIRE qualified candidates are exempted from the Amity entrance test but have to appear for the interview.

Selection Criteria

Admission to all the courses is granted on the basis of a written test as well as an English essay test followed by GD/PI.
The medium of instruction is English, hence, English is a mandatory subject at the 10+2 level.
The aggregate percentage will be calculated on the basis of marks scored in English & three academic subjects (compulsorily including subjects of eligibility AND excluding Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or any Vocational/Non Written subjects).
These subjects will only be considered for respective/selected disciplines.
Admission to all B.Tech programs is based on Amity- Joint Entrance Examination.
Admission to B.Arch and B.Plan will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in NATA or JEE (Main Paper 2).
Candidates applying for B.Des. and BFA must appear for the Creative Test conducted by the university.

AMITY JEE Exam Pattern:

Total no. of questions: 90
Duration of the test: 120 minutes
4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
The test will comprise 4 sections:

Selection Criteria

For MBA: University-based written test as well as an English essay test followed by an interview.

CAT/MAT/GMAT/NMAT/XAT/CMAT qualified candidates can secure direct admission. Non-Sponsored Candiates must score at least 85 percentile in CAT/XAT and the Sponsored candidates must secure 75% to be considered eligible for Direct Admission. In NMAT Non-Sponsored candidates and Sponsored candidates must secure a percentile of 60 and 50 respectively For MAT Non-Sponsored candidates must score 650 (Sponsored candidates must score 600) percentile. Amity University Research-Based Admission 2023

The university offers M.Phil, Ph.D. and Psy. D. programs in various disciplines. Selection for the M.Phil and Ph.D. is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam, English Language Test, and interview. Candidates who have qualified UGC NET/CSIR/ICAR (ASRB)/GPAT/ICMR/GATE/DST-INSPIRE are exempted from the entrance test but have to appear for the Interview.

My course is B.Tech food technology. For that eligibility criteria is MPC stream background. Must be an Indian citizen. The admission process was just simple. I went to the university and they said to fill out the form about their university norms. I just filled it out and gave it to the corresponding chamber. We have to submit all the original certificates at the time of filling application process. Application fees charges are 200 Rs. They were like ok but before that, you need to write one entrance exam which was complete of your concerned subject. That was not difficult and very easy to clear. I don't have any reservation claims. So finally that's the end application process. We have to wait for the updates regarding seat confirmation within one week.

Remarks:

Admission to Amity University is simple. You have to just give one easy English comprehension test. Followed by one interview with Amity faculty but while giving the interview they didn't listen to you. They just ask questions and get busy checking documents like your 12th mark sheet and 10th mark sheet. And on the same day, you will get results whether you get selected in Amity or not.

I filled out the admission form and was called for a convocation and interview within 15 days. At the time of admission, they took the first sem admission fee which was 60k along with an admission fee of 20k. There was a General Abilities test which was quite easy.

The admission process starts with an entrance test which is named cuet after giving the test the results appear and all the students get ranked accordingly. After that, we have to pay choice filling fees which are 5000, and select the college we want to get admission to. Then we get an allotment result which tells us which college we have qualified for and can get admission to it. If we get the college according to our choice then we freeze our seats in the particular college.

No, these universities almost have zero credibility. You have to realize the fact that the main goal of these big universities is to make money. I have heard a lot of reviews from my friends who studied at these universities. Following are lesser-known facts about these universities: During the admission, you will be told about the institute and will be assured about top-class facilities including AC in your classrooms. When you get allured in, you will face reality. Your expectations will be barely met. Most of the teaching faculties are newly appointed with most of them having no experience in teaching at all. Most of them will vanish after that semester and again, new faculties are appointed. Attendance criteria is very strict and teachers' way to control students. Even if you are five minutes late to the class, talking in class, or unable to answer a question in class, you are marked absent. There is no particular format for allotting the internal assessment or Semester end exam marks. If teachers are not that fond of you, you are definitely going to have a tough time here. Making students reappear in their exams is a new scheme of making money for these institutes. Whenever the results are out, around 80% of the class is going to fail in one or more papers. To reappear for one paper, you have to pay 5-8K. Fee demand is very high and ROI is very low, due to which the number of students drop out every year. You will be judged in every aspect, based on what you are wearing, that too if you are a girl. You will be sent back to hostels. Overall it's a no-brainer to avoid attending these institutes. Paying so much when you are getting so little in return, makes literally no sense at all. So think twice before opting for any of these institutes.

ABS is quite reputed among students and worth every penny you spend there. However, Amity is not AICTE approved. Although the degrees offered by Amity are UGC recognized. One of my friends did pursue his MBA from amity and he says he had a great experience. The faculty base at Amity is a mix of good and average teachers. The placement is quite good too with many MNCs visiting the campus for placements. Here’s a brief highlight of the institute. Particulars ABS Noida Average CTC 6 LPA Highest CTC 23 LPA Fees 11.76 lakhs Overall, ABS is a decent option for MBA. The other two institutes are not that good.
