MAKAUT admission 2023 is entrance based. For this purpose, the university conducts its own entrance exams, CET, JEMAT, GAT-B, and PGET. MAKAUT offers more than 100 courses in Engineering, Science, Management, Pharmacy, and Technology. Amongst all, the flagship program of the university is BTech. Admission to B.Tech is offered on the basis of rank secured in the WBJEE examination.
Another major program of the university is the MTech. Admission to the program is based on GATE or PGET scores. For MAKAUT MTech Biotechnology, the universty accepts only GAT-B score. MAKAUT offers a 4 years long B.Tech program via regular mode in two specializations namely, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Information Technology (IT). Admissions to the program are done through the WBJEE entrance examination followed by counseling for final seat allotments. The university also offers B.Tech Lateral entry on the basis of scores obtained in the WBJELET entrance examination.

To become eligible for the course one needs to take the WBJEE exam and get a rank. After that through e-counselling or spot counselling, one can take admission. Reservation and TFW(tuition fee wavier) benefits are there as per the wb govt criteria. This year the cutoff for the general category went around 7000, generally, it goes up to 5000.

If you look at this college and you would like to get admission to this college then you should face an exam by the West Bengal joint entrance examination which is called wbjee. At first, you should score high and rank better to get into this college especially if you want a Computer science stream then your rank should be 1500 to 3000. Rank is differ every year because it fluctuates how the students are seeing the most interest to get admission. The application form is open when you got selected in the counseling process and then you are eligible to take an advance seat booking process. Application fees and application dates are visible on the college website. I think it needs to be improved on the course curriculum and syllabus structure the. The admission process doesn't need to be upgraded, it is suitable.

There's no eligibility test for studying BCA in GIM(Gitaram Institute of Management) However it's required to pass the 12th with any stream. After getting admission the students have to take part in an online test as an eligibility test. The admission process is offline. The student must visit the institute for the admission form. If you have a rank around 10,000 in WBJEE, then you can opt for colleges like Techno India, IEM, Heritage Institute of Technology, Meghnad Shah, Netaji, etc.

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University and Haldia Institute of Technology both are engineering institutes. Some of my friends have been students of both of the institutes thus, I can provide a clear picture about which one’s better.
If academics are concerned, the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University is much better than Haldia Institute Technology.
If you are interested in research and development, the Haldia Institute of Technology is preferable.
