Course Curriculum Overview:

I am pursuing a Bsc. Agriculture as I came to know about the job opportunities associated with it. Faculty: The student ratio is poor because of a lack of recruitment in this sector for a long time. Quality of teaching is average because there are a limited number of teachers who could inculcate our interest in this subject through their good teaching methods. Others were just presenting slides and reading out the lines written on them. Random announcement of exams was frequent with only 40 percent syllabus completed in 3 months and 60 percent syllabus completed only 10 days before the exam. Moreover, there were midterm, endterm, and viva throughout 1 month and it was very hectic due to continuous 33 exam papers conducted at a time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

India is an agriculture-dependent country where more than 70% of the people are involved in agriculture and allied sectors, there is a huge scope for improvement and modernization. The faculty and profs are very helpful, no extra tuition is needed, library is available. Exams are not that punctual but moderately easy to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose it because I couldn't clear medical. There are mainly three faculty in the undergraduate level agriculture faculty horticulture faculty and agriculture engineering faculty. Almost 100 students were admitted to the agriculture faculty. Almost 30 students were admitted to both the horticulture and agriculture engineering faculty. Well facilitated organized way of teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Great future opportunities and placements. 1:20 faculty-student ratio is there. All professors are well qualified with Ph.D. and post-doctorate scientists. A 2-semester examination per year is conducted and class notes provided by teachers are enough to pass without any tuition.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The horticulture stream provides a lot of job opportunities like marketing, sales, landscape design etc. The faculty-to-student ratio is more or less 1:10. The teaching method of BCKV is appreciable. The professors of BCKV used to teach in presentation view mode. Each semester consists of six months including one mid-term and one end-term examination. A minimum of 60% marks is required to pass the semester.
