At UG level, BCKV offers B.Tech and B.Sc (Hons.) courses in the field of Agriculture and Horticulture. These courses are offered in full-time mode. 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks (40% for the reserved categories) is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. WBJEE score is mandatory for B.Tech while B.Sc admission is offered on the basis of marks in 10+2.

Key Points:

• Additional 20 seats in B.Sc (Agriculture/ Horticulture) courses are offered on the basis of marks obtained in Al India Entrance Examination conducted by ICAR (ICAR AIEEA).
• Two seats in B.Sc program at Mohanpur campus are reserved for the candidates belonging to Hill Tribe Quota sponsored by GTA, Darjeeling, West-Bengal.

BCKV also offers M.Sc, M.Tech and Ph.D. courses in various specializations in full-time mode. M.Sc and M.Tech program require B.Sc and BE/ B.Tech degree respectively in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. Admission to all the courses is offered on the basis of an entrance exam conducted by the university followed by an interview.

Selection Procedure:

• The candidate who want to apply for the courses at BCKV, have to apply online.
• All the candidates will have to appear for the entrance test for Masters and Ph.D. courses.
• The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks in entrance examination followed by the academic performance.
• The qualified candidates will have to appear for the counselling session which will be held at J.N Mukherjee Nagar Hall, Faculty of Agriculture Building, Mohanpur, Nadia, West Bengal.
