How is hostel life at AIIMS Rishikesh in terms of freedom?

● Top Answer By Yashish Arora on 05 Oct 21

Ans
AIIMS Rishikesh has one of the best hostel amenities. Here are some major pointers you must consider before joining the hostel at AIIMS Rishikesh, The hostel timings are still extremely flexible, given the fact, there is a mandatory time of 10 P.M set already.  If students go beyond the time limit, they can still get through the hostel after registering their names. There is a mandated rule of one person per room, making it quite private for students. Your co-roommates and the warden itself do not necessarily unsettle the environment for the students.  Unlike many other institutes, the inhabitants of the hostels are allowed on the rooftop at every point of the hour. Since the room policy is mandated to have one individual in one room, it is upon the students how they want to pursue their life during their stay.  The festivals are celebrated the best in the hostel as well. Unlike institutes that do not permit these, the hostels of AIIMS Rishikesh have been renowned to be the complete opposite. Apart from that, when talking especially about the girls’ hostel, the warden is quite strict, unlike the former, which makes the time limit more complex and rigid at all points.

How is AIIMS Rishikesh?

● Top Answer By Sunidhi Goyal on 15 Sept 22

Ans
AIIMS Rishikesh is one of the rapidly advancing medical colleges in terms of academics, research facilities, and hospital services. The strategic location of the college makes it accessible to most of Uttarakhand and western UP. The campus is green and tranquil.  The calm environment on campus and the presence of Ganga, right out of the main gate of the institute are unique to AIIMS Rishikesh. The night-life of Rishikesh isn’t too happening, but the hostel life certainly is. Overall, AIIMS Rishikesh offers an enriching learning experience.

Ques

If you get a choice between MAMC and AIIMS Rishikesh which one will you choose?

● Top Answer By Sabita Pathak on 05 Oct 21

Ans
The choices you have right now are somewhat very closely related to what my brother’s choices were very recently in his career. Thus, here is a thorough insight about what my brother mentions, AIIMS Rishikesh, although still being under acute construction, is following the steps of development until today. While, on the other hand, MAMC is a rather well-established medical college, holding a top rank.  The structure and cultural advancement of the college have witnessed heavy developments. MAMAC has conducted several conferences and is one of the major hubs for industrial training.  The institute does not limit education to medicine, but also teaches communication skills, and what it takes to be a fruitful doctor, via major workshops, lectures, etc.  The same opportunities are quite limited if talking about AIIMS Rishikesh. Here are some major benefits MAMC provides, which other institutes do not, Situated in the center of Delhi, it offers exposure to students, partially also helping patients reach their steps before they go to any other hospitalized institutes. If a student is based in Delhi itself, then they can quite naturally enjoy the Delhi quota, which includes 50% of the reservation in Delhi colleges, further for the PG seats.  AIIMS does not provide any facilities like the aforementioned, so it is a good idea to choose the former. The only major advantage AIIMS Rishikesh enjoys over MAMC is the tag it has, which the latter does not have. So choose wisely.

Will it be a right decision to leave AIIMS Patna for AIIMS Rishikesh or Raipur considering the current scenario?

● Top Answer By Zaira Shah on 15 Nov 22

Ans
Given the current situation, leaving AIIMS Patna for AIIMS Rishikesh or Raipur is not a smart decision. The following are the reasons: 1. Among all AIIMS, AIIMS Patna has the highest patient input (second only to AIIMS Delhi), and in medical studies, patients are your best teacher. 2. The AIIMS Patna PG entrance result is excellent, with several single-digit rankers in various entrance exams. 3. Dams (coaching for PG) has a center in Patna, so you can easily prepare for PG from here. 4. The campus is the largest of all the AIIMS, with numerous fields for casual play and hanging out. 5. A 1000-bed ward, various OTs, and a large library are just a few of the amenities available. You should choose the AIIMS closest to your home because with the minimal vacations provided to students, you will have frequent cravings to visit home yet keeping in mind that you cannot take much leave.

Ques

Why should I prefer AIIMS Rishikesh over other new AIIMs?

● Top Answer By Rohini Rao, on 16 Nov 21

Ans
Most of the students prefer AIIMS Rishikesh over other AIIMS because of its location. It is a very peaceful place, appropriate for an educational institution. AIIMS Rishikesh is also known to offer the best facilities for the students. The course curriculum and overall academics are more or less the same in every AIIMS. But One thing that makes it stand out among the others is the professional exam conducted by them for the students. These tests are in the form of MCQs, which is an Objective paper. These are some things that make AIIMS Rishikesh better than the other AIIMS. Analyze every detail before getting admission to any college.
