Among its short term courses, SVU offers Diploma in Pharmacy, Engineering, Library Science and Elementary Education. Candidates applying for D.Pharm, Diploma in Emergency & Trauma Care Technology and OT Technician must have passed class 12^th examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics.

Admissions to Diploma in Mass Communication will be based on candidate’s score in class 12^th. For the candidates, who have passed class 10^th with Mathematics as one of the subjects are eligible to apply for Diploma in various disciplines of engineering.

Applicants who hold graduation in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for D.El.Ed. For graduates, the university also offers PG Diploma in Computer Applications and Mass Communication.

• Lateral entry admissions to Diploma in Engineering are open for candidates who have passed class 12^th with PCM/ ITI in relevant trade.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST are entitles to relaxation of 5% in the qualifying examination.
• Those applying for D.El.Ed must be between 21 years to 30 years of age.
• Students who hold professional degree must have scored 55% aggregate marks as minimum qualification requirement.
• Admissions to all the Diploma and PG Diploma courses will be merit based, as per the candidate’s score in qualifying exam.

Shri Venkateswara University offers four year Bachelors courses in Technology, Design and Pharmacy. Among its other professional under graduate degree courses, the university also offers integrated B.Sc + B.Ed, BA + B.Ed and two year B.Ed courses.

Candidates who have passed class 12^th with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology as one of the optional with 45% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for B.Tech.

Admissions will be made on the basis of candidate’s score in Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Exam/ JEE (Mains). For B.Pharm, candidates must have passed class 12^th examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics.

Graduation degree holders can apply for two year Bachelor’s programme in Education. Applications are also invited for graduate candidates for Bachelor’s course in Library & information Science.

• Candidates who have completed Diploma in Engineering are eligible for lateral entry admissions to B.Tech Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
• Those holding two year Diploma in Pharmacy are eligible for B.Pharm lateral entry admissions.

Under its three year undergraduate courses, SVU offers Bachelor’s in Science under various disciplines. Candidates seeking admissions to B.Sc courses under the School of Applied Science (Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany and Mathematics), must have passed higher secondary examinations in Science stream.

For B.Sc (Nursing), Biology and English must be studied as compulsory subjects at 10+2 level. Under its School of Agriculture Sciences, B.Sc is offered under the disciplines of Agriculture, Horticulture and Industrial Fish & Fisheries.

For B.Sc courses, qualifying marks are 45%.  Apart from B.Sc, candidates having successfully passed class 12^th can also apply for BBA, BCA, B.Com, BA. BFA, BPA, BSW, ANM and GNM. Admissions to these courses will be merit based. Candidates will have to appear for the round of physical counseling.

• Candidates applying for ANM must produce Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of admission.
• Only female candidates are eligible to apply for ANM courses.
• Upper age limit for the candidates applying for GNM and ANM is 35 years.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ SC are entitled to relaxation of 5% in the qualifying exam.

Under its School of Law, Shri Venkateshwara University offers Bachelor’s and Master’s in Law. Candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline and have secured 45% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for admissions.

Applicants for LLM, must have obtained Bachelor’s in Law (3 year/ 5 year) with at least 5% aggregate marks. Admissions to both the courses will be entrance based- SVU Common Entrance Test (SVU CET).

Under its professional PG programmes, SVU offers Master’s in Technology, Design, Pharmacy and Business Administration. Candidates who have completed B.Tech in the concerned disciplines are eligible to apply for M.Tech programme.

Applicants who hold graduation degree in any of the disciplines are eligible to apply for MBA programme (regular, executive and evening). Bachelor’s in Pharmacy with at least 55% aggregate marks is a must for M.Pharm admissions.

Admissions to all the professional Master’s courses at the university are entrance based- SVU Common Entrance Test (SVU CET). Only the candidates who qualify the written entrance test will be called for further admission process. An additional qualifying criterion for MBA courses is Group Discussion/ Personal Interview conducted by the university after the written test.

• M.Tech is also offered in weekend batches (three years) in the disciplines of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication.
• Candidates applying for MBA courses as Executive, Weekend or Evening courses, must have minimum two years relevant work experience certificate at the time of admissions.
• Those with a valid rank in GATE are exempted from entrance exam by the college.
• Preference will be given to the candidate’s with a valid GATE score.
• Applicants, who have valid score in All India management entrance exam (CAT), need not appear for the written entrance exam. Such candidates will have to appear for GD/ PI.

Apart from the professional PG courses, SVU offers Mater’s in various disciplines under the Schools of Applied Science (M.Sc), Commerce & Management (M.Com), Agriculture Sciences (M.Sc), Library & Information science (M.Lib.Sc) and Humanities (MA, MSW).

Candidates must hold Bachelor’s in the concerned disciplines with at least 45% aggregate marks as pre requisite qualification for admissions. Admissions to all the PG courses will be through the merit list issued after the Shri Venkateshwara University Common Entrance Test (SVU CET).

• MA (regular), MA (Journalism & Mass Communication) and M.Com are also available as external courses for which candidates must have completed Bachelor’s in concerned disciplines.
• There is no minimum qualifying marks criteria for external courses.
• Admission Test will be conducted at various centers across the country.
• Candidates must submit the course fee during the document verification process.

SVU offers M.Phil and Ph.D in the disciplines of Applied Science, Engineering & technology, Humanities, Language & Social Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Commerce & Management, Education, Journalism & mass Communication, Nursing and Library & Information Science.

Candidates must hold Master’s in concerned disciplines with minimum 55% aggregate marks as necessary requirement for admissions. Applicants who have completed M.Phil are also eligible to apply for Ph.D courses.

Admissions to both M.Phil and Ph.D course will be based on the entrance exam conducted by the university- SVU Common Entrance Test (SVU CET). Qualifying candidates will be called for further round of Personal Interview/ Group Discussion.

• Candidates who have a valid score in UGC NET in concerned disciplines are exempted from the entrance exam.
• Exempted candidates will have to appear for GD/ PI.
• Entrance exam will consist of 50 Multiple Choice Questions (50 marks) and descriptive questions (50 marks).
