Annamalai University B.E Eligibility Criteria

• Tamil Nadu candidates who have passed 8,9,10,11,12 standards are eligible to apply.
• Tamil Nadu candidates who have passed any of the 8,9,10,11,12 standard or their equivalent from outside Tamil Nadu are also eligible to apply. They should show the Original Nativity Certificate.
• Children of Central Government Employees can also apply. They need not show any documents.
• Children of All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates who are Srilankan Tamil Refugees will be considered for admission. They need to show the relevant documents at the time of Admission.
• Minimum marks required for General Category is 45% in 10+2 and for OBC is 40% and SC/ST/SCA is 40% in their intermediate level. Should have completed their 10+2 from the recognized Board.

Annamalai University B.E Admission Criteria

• Candidates who are interested in joining the University under the BTech course must fulfill the Eligibility Criteria as prescribed by the University. The candidates should apply for admission and then appear for counseling on the respective dates. 
• Candidates are advised to present before the Admission Committee with all their original documents as instructed in the application form. 
• A merit list will be prepared based on the marks of the candidates in the 10+2 level. The final merit list will be displayed on the official website of the University. Based on the ranks in the merit list, candidates will be grouped and will be called for admissions on their allotted date and time. 
• The list of final selected candidates will be displayed on the official website.

Applicants need to deposit a fee of INR 5000 for the General Category and INR 1000 for other reserved categories. Candidates will be allowed to participate in the counseling only after the initial fee deposit. Candidates are therefore advised to pay the initial deposit well in advance.

After successful payment, applicants will be allowed to fill their choices to be considered for admission. Two days are allotted to the candidates for choice filling. After choice filling, candidates will have to lock their choices before the stipulated time. Based on their choice filling, a list will be released of the candidates. Candidates have to regularly check the official website.

After the final allotment, candidates have to report to the university and have to carry forward all the documents verification process and have to pay the first installment fees. If in case, the candidate is unable to claim his seat, then the refund of fees will be done according to the terms and conditions set by the University.

First Graduate Tuition Fee Concession - 

• Candidates are supposed to obtain a certificate from Head Quarters Deputy Tahsildar in the prescribed format and it is necessary to submit the e-certificate signed digitally. It should contain information related to the family, parents and siblings.
• If the applicant’s Brother or Sister has availed First Graduate Tuition Fee Concession for studying Professional Courses, then the applicant is not eligible for such concession.

Post Matric Scholarship - 

• Candidates belonging to SC/SCA/ST categories are eligible to apply if their annual family income from all the sources is less than INR 250000. For candidates belonging to SC/SCA categories who converted to Christianity, the annual income slab fixed by the authorities is below than INR 200000. 
• Candidates are required to submit the income certificate obtained from the respective authorities.

Higher Education Special Scholarship - 

• Candidates residing in the hostel and belonging to SC/SCA/ST/Converted Christians categories are eligible for receiving scholarships. The annual family income from all the sources should not exceed INR 250000.

BC/MBC/DNC Categories Scholarship -
