NIIT University was established in the year 2009 in Neemrana, Rajasthan. It is a private university approved by UGC

NIIT University offers UG, PG, and Doctoral level programs. UG level programs include BBA, B.Tech of four-year duration under 5 specializations, Integrated M.Tech, Integrated M.Sc and Integrated MBA course. Candidates must have passed 10^th with 60% marks and successfully completed 10+2.
In case of B.Tech.- Biotechnology, Integrated M.Tech, candidates must have studied Physics, Biology/Mathematics and English at 10+2 level.
For B.Tech.- CSE/ECE, caniddates must have studied Physics, Mathemtics and English.
For IB/Cambridge, candidates must have successfully completed any programme equivalent to 10+2.

NIIT University B.Tech., Integrated M.Tech., Integrated M.Sc Selection Criteria

Candidates are selected for B.Tech. course on the basis of JEE Main/BITSAT/SAT/NEET or any other state engineering entrance examination score.
Those who do not have any of the above scores need to appear in the NUAT exam conducted by the university itself.

NITT University M.Tech. Eligibility

Candidates must have secured at least 50% in 10^th, 10+2, Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree(if applicable).
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in any field.
Professionals with 3 years- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two years adequate IT training and professional practicing in an ET relevant industry/ organization/ dept./ desk/ in India or abroad are eligible.
Candidates with three-years relevant experience in any of the above-mentioned areas can also apply.

NITT University M.Tech. Selection Criteria

Admission to M.Tech course is through a unique Admission Interaction Process (AIP).
The AIP consists of 2 parts: firstly candidates need to appear for the Aptitude Test which is of 40 minutes duration.
Those who qualify the test will undergo the Applicant-Faculty Interaction process either face to face or through video conferencing.
Selected candidates will have to submit the Acceptance letter duly signed by them and their parent/guardian within 5 working days of receiving the Admission Offer Letter along with a non-refundable acceptance cum admission processing fee of INR 25,000/-.

Key Points:

The Pre-Service Applicants are required to appear for the NIIT University ET Admission Competency Test and a subsequent screening interview.
The In-Service Applicants shall normally be evaluated on the basis of the candidates’ interest, experience and suitability for the Programme and the recommendation of the sponsoring organisation

NIIT University BBA and Integrated MBA Selection Criteria

For admission into BBA and Integrated MBA, the university conducts Admission Interaction Process (AIP).

NIIT University Ph.D. Admission 2023

NIIT University offers the Ph.D. course of minimum 3-years duration under their Doctoral program. Candidates who have completed Master’s degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology/ Management/ Social Science/ Commerce from recognized university. Candidates with BE or B.Tech Degree and minimum 8.85 CGPA on the scale of 10.0 and have valid GATE score are considered eligible to get admission to the course.

Admission to Ph.D. program is given on the basis of marks obtained in GRE/ GMAT/ JRF/ CSIR/ NET or candidate’s performance in the entrance test and interview round conducted by the University. The university entrance test and interview is given 40% and 60% weightage respectively.

NIIT University Scholarships

There are two Scholarships offered by the University which are mentioned as follows:

1.) NU Scholar Search Programme – To encourage and support meritorious Applicants, NU has a very distinctive scholarship Programme called the ‘NU Scholar Search Programme’. Under this Programme, an Applicant may qualify for a scholarship up to a full waiver on the University Tuition Fee. Merit Scholarship is awarded on the basis of:

NU Scholar Search Programme offers the following scholarship plans. The benefits under each plan are as follows:

Doon Business School is a great option for integrated BBA+MBA. It is ranked by India Today as the 5th best BBA college in North India and the 24th best in India. Having to know some people studying in both LNCT Bhopal and NIIT Neemrana, I would suggest you go for NIIT Neemrana due to their quality of education. Nowadays, if the correct set of teaching staff and practical labs are provided, any university can enable its students to excel in their preferred domains.

I have friends from both NIIT University and Manipal University. Based on their experience, I will say NIIT University is better. Here are some advantages of joining NIIT.

NIIT offers decent academics in the field of technology. Their CSE branch is especially good.
The green campus, surrounded by Aravali hills, is a treat for the eyes.
The faculty pool is supportive and friendly. You can reach them, for any help you need regarding academics.
On-campus you will meet students from all over India. Also, since the batch size isn’t huge, you will get to know your batch mates well.
NIIT is an IT Education space. So, the industry interface is great. They have industry visits, guest lectures, industry-oriented curriculum.
It has a good placement record. During 2021 placements, NIIT University's highest package was INR 24.08 LPA.

Overall, NIIT University is a good option for pursuing an engineering degree.
