Admission to the B.Tech course is based on JEE Main score of the candidates.
Securing admission in B.Sc (Hons) in Agriculture depends upon JET Score.
Admission to Integrated programs in Law such as BBA LLB (Hons), BA LLB (Hons), B.Sc LLB (Hons) and B.Com LLB (Hons) and LLM is done on the basis of CLAT score.
Selection to all other UG courses and PG Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations is based on merit in the qualifying examination.
Admission to the M.Tech course is based on the GATE score of the candidates.
M.Sc and MCA admission is based on the Entrance Test/Personal Interview conducted by the University.

JECRC University PG Admission 2023: M.Tech, MCA, MBA, M.Sc

AT PG level, the University offers M.Tech, M.Sc., MCA, MBA, MSW, LLM, and PG Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations. The Minimum eligibility for PG courses is a Bachelor’s degree in relevant specialization from a recognized university except for PG Diploma, for which the minimum eligibility is a pass in 10+2.

Admission to M.Sc and MCA courses will be based on an Entrance Test/Personal Interview conducted by the University. M.Tech admission will be done on the basis of the GATE score. Admission to MBA is based on the CAT/XAT/MAT score followed by GD and PI rounds. While admission to the MSW course depends upon the GD-PI process.

In addition to the UG and PG courses, JECRC also offers the Ph.D. degree in19 different fields of research. All these courses are for a minimum duration of two years which can be maximized up to six years.

Minimum eligibility for Ph.D. courses is candidate must have passed a Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks OR member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

How to Apply for JECRC Ph.D.

JECRC Admissions are ongoing for the year 2023. Here are the steps that the students need to follow to apply for admission to the Ph.D course:

Step 1. Visit the official website of the University and go to the P.hD Admissions tab.

Step 2. Create your login by filling in the necessary information.

Step 3. A OTP pin will be sent to your registered mobile number/email. Fill in the OTP to complete the registration process.

Step 4. Fill out the application form online by providing all the necessary information.

Step 5. Upload all the required documents and pay the application fee of INR 1500.

Step 6. Download the confirmation page for future reference.

Candidates will have to maintain a minimum CGPA of 8.0 in every semester without any backlogs in any subject and a minimum 75% attendance in each subject.

JECEC University is quite good for a BTech. One of my friends did his B.Tech CSE from the institute. He had a good experience there.

The course curriculum is updated with the latest industry trends. For CSE they taught new technologies.
They conduct aptitude classes. Which will help you in your placement and also in life.
The institute offers many opportunities for its students to go to IITs and NITs for technical, cultural, or entrepreneurship competitions.
It conducts placement training. You will learn how to creak an interview and other relevant skills.
The teachers are also quite helpful. They will help you in both academics and placements.

Which is better, BIT Mesra Jaipur or JECRC for a BCA?

My cousin attended both colleges. He left BIT Mesra to join JECRC. Here is his insight for the institutes.

Comparison:

BIT Mesra has better faculties, better brand name, better opportunities in terms of placements as well as higher studies. But unfortunately, the campus is not that good. There is a lack of cooperation from the university and less crowd.
In JECRC, you will get a good college experience. After all, all that matters, in the end, is your skills.
If you don’t have any interest in socializing and want a life with a brand name to carry forward, BIT Jaipur is definitely the better alternative.

For CSE particularly, the preference order should be BIT Jaipur >> JECRC.

Manipal University, Jaipur has better faculty and placements compared to JECRC University. The university offers a hands-on learning experience to students. The professors are well-experienced and have in-depth knowledge in their respective fields.

Companies such as Amazon, Accenture, SAP Labs, ZS Associates, etc. take part in the placement drive. Manipal University Jaipur placements in 2022 ended with an average CTC of INR 7 LPA. While the highest CTC offered was INR 55 LPA.

The student crowd at DSCE is also better, as people from cosmopolitan backgrounds will be there. The placements are good and it mostly depends on your skills.

JECRC Jaipur is ranked 23rd All over India in the Best University Survey. Students are provided with internship opportunities (100%). 81% of which was paid internship, stipend from INR 8000 to 24000 per month.

NIT Manipur ranks 158th for BTech by NIRF 2020. It is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It has a 300+ acres campus area. It has a faculty strength of 70 members most of them being highly qualified and PhD holders.

One of my friends shared her experience of studying at JECRC College made me realize that JECRC University is much better than JECRC College. They have a highly experienced faculty, Good infrastructure, an updated curriculum, Better Placement facilities, Higher salary package, etc. which are considered to be far better than JECRC College.

Yes, you need to have a valid GATE score to get admission to MTech at JECRC University. Students are shortlisted for admission based on their GATE score. Besides GATE score, the other prerequisite for the M.Tech programs at JECRC is successful completion of BE/BTech with an aggregate of 50% from a recognized university.
