₹ 24,055It’s not that difficult to get admission in CURAJ for an integrated M.Sc-B.Ed course in Mathematics. However, demand for this course has increased over the past few years. For this degree, you will also need to compete with CURAJinas (integrated M.Sc 5 years). To score well in the entrance, you need to have your basics clear. Once you cover your basics, you can start practicing the previous year’s questions. Give mock tests and practice as many problems as you can.
I have a friend who graduated from Central University of Rajasthan. His experience at the institute has been good.
Overall, you will have a good experience on campus.
Yes, Central University of Rajasthan offers placements but only for departments like MBA and BDA (Big Data Analysis). According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at the institute is 7 LPA.
Also, it depends on the HOD, whether they will organize placement events or not. Other than the placement, CURAJ is a decent option for pursuing a degree.
The Integrated M.Sc+B.Ed degree offered by CURAJ is a unique degree. You should consider doing this course if you are interested in teaching. It is a three-year-long course. After completion of the course, you will get an M.Sc+B.Ed degree. Doing this course instead of a traditional M.Sc and B.Ed is better since with this course you will be able to save a year.
The Mathematics department of CURAJ has a great faculty base. The professors are alumni of reputed universities of India and the world.
You should go for a B.Tech in CS, rather than a BSc degree. Most jobs usually ask for a 4-year long B.Tech degree or a B.Sc+M.Sc (5 years) in CS. So, you may face problems while applying for jobs. As for the colleges, DU will be a better option compared to CURAJ. In 2021, NIRF has ranked Delhi University 11th in India.
All central universities including CURAJ, CUPB are good for Chemistry branches like Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Applied Chemistry. The course curriculum followed by these universities is up-to-the industry standard. The lab resources at these universities are also quite good. CURAJ and CUPB are also located in the industrial region, so you will get decent employment options. You can choose either of these two universities for an M.Sc in Chemistry.
One of my friends studied at Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ). As he has availed the hostel facilities, let me share the details which might give you a clear idea.
Along with all these good facilities, there are some things that might come as disappointing, these include, the shortage of water, no common room in the hostels and the mess is combined for two hostels.
Despite these drawbacks, he mentions that the hostels are appropriate for a student's needs.
CURAJ is a decent option for doing an MSc in Atmospheric Science. Although the course has started recently, it offers decent opportunities for the students. The department offers good research exposure. Also, many national and international agencies offer fundings for research to the students. So, it is a great option, if you are interested in research. The university also conducts many international workshops throughout the academic year. CURAJ will offer you good academic and resources for Atmospheric Science.
Some of my friends attended CURAJ. According to them, the hostel facilities are quite good. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. Food offered at mass is decent. The quality of food depends on the contractors and hostel wardens. The hostel timing is from 6 am-10 pm. However, the library stays open till 12 am. You can study there. Security of the hostel is pretty strict. All the hostels have good wifi facilities.
If you are a fresher, it’s best if you keep good relations with the teaching and non-teaching staff. You can take part in sports and cultural events on campus. If you have time to spare, you can visit nearby places like Ajmer, Jaipur, etc.
If you want to take a job as a lecturer in Government-run colleges, CURAJ is an appropriate option. It is a very good institution with good infrastructure and a peaceful learning atmosphere.
This course saves one year for the students doing M.Sc. then B.Ed. or vice versa. The faculty at the university is really good. They are from highly respectable institutions with years of educational experience.
It will also save you money. You can learn something else in that one year. So yes choosing CURAJ will prove beneficial for your career.
