The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Himachal Pradesh, (Baddi) popularly known as The ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh, (Baddi) has been established under the provision of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University (Establishment and Regulation) Act 2011 (Act No. 43 of 2011) passed by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh on June 17, 2011. The University is sponsored by The ICFAI Society - a not-for-profit educational society established in 1984.

ICFAI University Baddi, Himachal Pradesh is one of its 11 sponsored Universities, is a private university established under the provisions of the ICFAI University (Establishment & Regulation) Act-2011 (Act no. 43 of 2011) as assented by the Governor on 17^th Oct. 2011, situated at Baddi, Solan, Himachal Pradesh.

Campus Infrastructure: The university campus is in the Educational Hub at Baddi. It has 2 lakhs sq. ft. a built-up area with academic blocks and classrooms with the latest audio-visual equipment. Programs Offered:

B.Tech Program

The University gives a 4 year or 8-semester full-time B.Tech program in some specializations such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

Eligibility:

10+2 passed out with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English as subjects, along with JEE (Main) 2020 or HPCET 2020 score.

B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) Program

ICFAI University Baddi also gives a chance to diploma holders in relevant fields to complete their technical degree in B.Tech program in various specializations such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The lateral entry program holds a 3 year or 6 semesters of duration with the eligibility of 3-year diploma in engineering in respective discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

BBA Program

A 3 year or 6 semester of duration BBA course is there in the university with the eligibility of 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline with an aggregate of 50% and above marks. Class XII students awaiting final year examination results are also eligible to apply.

B.Com Program

A 3 year or 6 semester of duration B.Com program is there in the university with the eligibility of 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline with an aggregate of 40% and above marks. Class XII students awaiting final year examination results are also eligible to apply.

B.Sc Program

With a duration of 3 years, a B.Sc. course is there within the campus for the students with the eligibility criteria of 10+2 pass out with PCM, with an aggregate of 50% and above marks. Class XII students awaiting final year examination results are also eligible to apply.

M.Com Program

A 2 year or 4-semester M.Com program is there at ICFAI University Baddi. An aspirant seeking admission to this course should be a passed out in graduation in commerce with 50% and above aggregate marks. Final year graduate students awaiting results are also eligible to apply.

M.Sc. Program

There is an M.Sc. Program at the university with a duration of 2 years or 4 semester in different specializations such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics with different eligibility criteria as the stream chosen as follows:

M.Sc. Chemistry: Pass in B.Sc Med/Non-Med, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
M.Sc. Physics: Pass in B.Sc (Non-Med), with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
M.Sc. Mathematics: Pass in B.Sc (Non-Med), B.A with mathematics, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
Final year graduate students awaiting results are also eligible to apply.

PhD Program

The university also provides a 4 years research PhD program with eligibility criteria as follows:

Two-year postgraduate degree with 60% or more or equivalent CGPA, over and above a four-year Undergraduate Degree along with UGC-NET / SLET qualification in respective discipline.
Postgraduate students who do not have a four-year undergraduate degree will be required to undergo certain additional courses to cover the marginal deficiency.

Hostel Facility:

A limited facility for accommodation is available near the University on the first-cum-first-serve basis. A well-equipped cafeteria has been established in the campus to cater to hostellers and day scholars. In addition, the University administration helps students to seek suitable accommodation.
