What's New in Sambalpur University?
VSSUT is known for its flagship program of B.Tech which is being offered in 10 specializations. For the B.Tech admissions at VSSUT, candidates are required to appear for the JEE Main or OJEE examination and participate in the OJEE counseling for final seat allotments. VSSUT charges a fee of INR 91,280 per year for its B.Tech program.
VSSUT also offers admissions to the other courses such as M.Tech, MCA, Ph.D. on the basis of scores obtained in the entrance examinations such as GATE, OJEE, UGC NET respectively. The selection criteria, dates, eligibility, and application process are discussed in the article.

Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) offers a Bachelor’s degree in Technology under 11 different specialization subjects with a duration of 4 years. The university also offers 5 years Integrated B.Tech+M.Tech course under two different specializations.
Admission to B.Tech. courses of the University are based on the merit in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Govt. of Odisha. The application process for Odisha JEE starts in the month of March every year. Candidates can apply online application for Odisha JEE.

VSSUT Odisha M.Tech Admission 2023
VSSUT offers M.Tech programme under 20 different specializations with the a duration of two years. The intake capacity of each M.Tech programme is 18 seats.
Selection for admission to any M.Tech programme is done on the basis of scores obtained in GATE. For the leftover seats, the college accepts direct admission, selection for which is done on the basis of scores secured in B.Tech or Equivalent Examination.
Key Points:
- SC/ST candidates are considered separately for seats reserved for the purpose
- If a candidate is interested to apply for M.Tech Admission in more than one discipline/specialization (Department), then he/she has to submit separate applications with requisite fees. In no case, any candidate shall be considered more than one department with one application. Admission shall be carried out strictly according to the merit and choice of specializations chosen during the submission of the application.

VSSUT Odisha M.Sc, Integrated M.Sc. And MCA Admission 2023
The University offers various Postgraduate level courses in different fields of Science and Technology.
The M.Sc programme is provided with three different specializations for which the course period is two years, whereas, the MCA programme is offered for a period of three years. A 5 years Integrated B.Sc + M.Sc programme is also provided by VSSUT.
Admission to the M.Sc. courses are made through an open selection process through academic career evaluation. The evaluation of candidates for the purpose of admission will be based on merit of High Secondary and Graduation or Equivalent level.

Student those who are selected through JEE/OJEE/Univ. entrance examination for taking admission into various courses of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla are required to register online through the link available in the official website of VSSUT

- Register yourself through phone number and email id.
- After successfully online registration, students will be facilitated to download/print his/her online application.
- An auto generated application code will be generated for further references.
- The interested candidates may download the application form available in the University Website and submit a hard copy of the signed completed application alongwith non-refundable demand draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.200/- in case of SC/ST candidates) in favour of,
VSSUT, Burla payable at SBI, Burla (Code - 2034) or Syndicate Bank (Code - 8062) and send the same by Speed Post only so as to reach the Dean, PGS & R, VSSUT, Burla before the last date of submission

You have to go through the JEE MAINS examination in order to get admission to our college. It is a state government college and we can apply through the OJEE website with an application fee of Rs 0. It is important as it provides different kinds of facilities.

I joined the course after taking the jee main exam that is conducted every year by nta. Students could also join through the Ojee exam. Counselling is done through the ojee counselling. there are benefits for the reservation category. The admission process is smooth

For admission to this university, we need to appear for jee main entrance exam then after the publication of the scores we apply for collages in Odisha ojee conducts the admission process than are the 3 rounds of the admission process conducted by ojee then we get our college. A student who want to take admission into this college the student should be complete his/her 12 in physics, chemistry, and mathematics and the candidate should appear in jee main entrance exam. The candidate gets a seat when he/she completes the cutoff marks in jee main There are also a lot of reservation criteria these are- for scheduled cast students and the student who appears his/ her 12th from Odisha board these are the two reservation criteria and there are a lot of benefits.

Remarks:
The admission was granted through my JEE Mains ranking, and the counselling organisation was OJEE. There is no other entrance exam through which you can avail for the BTech courses. JEE Main is the entrance exam which is being considered here. The cutoff vary for different branches, and the college follows the standard reservation percentage, OBC category doesn't get any benefits. The admission process is very smooth and it's not difficult at all.

It is better to study at VIT Chennai. It is the best private institute in the region. VIT Chennai has an impressive placement record. During the 2022 placement drive, a total of 118 companies took part in the placement drive. The highest CTC offered this year was INR 75 LPA. Companies such as DE Shaw, Microsoft, HP, Infosys, PayPal, etc. takes part in VIT Chennai placements.

VSSUT Burla is a much better option than IGIT Sarang. VSSUT, Burla - Being the Oldest engineering institute in the state, has some of the best faculty, a huge library, and a wide-spread Alumni net.
Discussed below are a few important points about VSSUT Burla.
- For any branch, VSSUT will be a better option, since it has better placement records, campus infrastructure, clubs, and the cutoff rank is also higher.
- Most importantly it's autonomous so it has its own examinations and curriculum.
- If you have any problem regarding something you can directly get in contact with the Vice-Chancellor at VSSUT Burla.

One of my cousins was in the same situation, whether to choose VSSUT or IGIT, and he chose VSSUT. If you look up the statistics you will clearly see VSSUT is much better than IGIT.

Both EE at IGIT and IT at VSSUT have the same admission process through JEE mains followed by counseling and interview. IGIT has more seats for EE than for IT in VSSUT so maybe getting admissions in IGIT will be easy in comparison to VSSUT. The placement rate is also good for both universities.
