Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed qualifying degree examination in B.Sc/ B.Pharm/ MBBS/ B.V.Sc/ B.F.Sc/ BE or B.Tech in Biotechnology/ B.Sc. Agriculture from this university or any other recognized university with minimum 45% aggregate marks or in honours candidates belong to ge11neral category (with minimum 40% aggregate marks or minimum 45% marks in honours subject for candidates belongs to SC/ ST category.
• Candidate must have pass +2 with biology as a subject from this university or any other recognized university.

Admission Process

Selection of the candidate to the above mentioned course is done on the basis of marks secured in the admission test conducted by the university.

Admission Reservation

• 13% seats are reserved for the candidates belong to ST category and 9.5% seats are reserved for the candidates belong to SC category.
• 15% supernumerary seats are reserved for the foreign candidates.

How to Apply?

• Candidates can apply online or can also downlaod the application form from the university website.
• Candidates can also obtain the application form by post on payment of amount Rs. 200/- in the form of Account Payee DD drawn in favour of the Comptroller of finance, Berhampur University and payable at the SBI Bhanja Bihar, Berhampur.
• Candidate must have to attach self-addressed envelope (size 30 x 12 cm) affixed with postal stamps worth Rs. 40/- (Rupees forty only) for each application form.
• Candidates can register themselves to the above mentioned courses by submitting the examination fee of amount of Rs. 600/- along with application form in the form of Account Payee Bank Draft drawn in favour of the “Coordinator” and payable at the SBI Berhampur – 760 007
• Candidates can also register themselves to the above mentioned courses by paying Rs. 400/- for printed form obtained from the P.G. Central Office, Berhampur University payable at the State Bank of India, Berhampur – 760 007.
• Candidates must have to submit the application form along with the required enclosures and fees to the Course Coordinator to which admission is sought by Registered/ Speed Post

Enclosures:

1. Transfer Certificate/College Leaving Certificate in original is compulsory
2. Reserved Categories certificate issued only by a Revenue Officer of the locality not below the rank of a Tahasildar must be submitted
3. Medical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner not below the rank of CDMO within a month of their provisional admission (for foreign candidates)
