I choose this course because I want to There are plenty of faculty members for mechanical students because mechanical engineering has fewer sections than other branches Qualification of faculty is PhD for senior professors and M-tech for junior faculty Teaching is really good for thermodynamics, machine design and other core subjects 3 mid-exams and a semester for each semester. semester exam is easy if you do well in mid exams
Eligibility is a common entrance test and gitam entrance exam conducted Application form available at admission block Reservations are fee concessions for Karnataka students Admission is very straightforward and simple
Read Full ReviewI found computer science to be a very interesting course and I always had an interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning so I found out gitam has this course so opted for it. the faculty-student ratio is around 40:3. all the teachers are well qualified and the teaching methods are made sure that each and every person gets the concept very clearly. some professors of course are not soo good but all those professors are Ph.D. graduates and are very well educated. the term exams are very well planned and scheduled so it was very clear to us, but the term exams for maths were very somewhat difficult to pass.
I got admitted into this college by normal management process which involves reaching out to the college and making sure all our certificates are provided to the college the eligibility is that we should secure at least 65% in our inter-college which I got secured in inter so I got eligible. I did not get any reservation benefits. the admission process, to be honest, is very fluid and it can be improved by improving the admission process even on weekends. the application form and all the details are present on the official website of gitam.
Read Full ReviewI have chosen this course coz I am interested in computer programming. The faculty-student ratio is 2:40 The faculty are qualified with PhD, they are student-friendly and their teaching method is good. There are two semesters in a year, you have to attend classes regularly so that you can score well in Exams.
You have to appear for the GAT or KCET exam to get admission to our college. If you qualify in the exam, You will get the seat for your preferred course/branch, then the admission process will start. They verify your 10th and 12th certificates etc.
Read Full ReviewFor me, it was not that difficult because if you kept studying for mid-exams and continue to go to classes regularly you won't feel that hard to pass if u r a fast learner then it would be very easy to pass the exams.
it would be better if the admission is taken in person everything was online and it was very difficult to understand the admission process. there was no proper communication between the students and the admission portal. But we got admission very quickly.
Read Full ReviewI did not get any placement as I am still studying in college but according to my seniors the placements are pretty good and there is a 90% chance u get a place in a good company. from 3rd year the students are eligible to appear for placements and there are a lot of companies visiting gitam Banglore like amazon, TCS, etc., almost 40 to 50 companies visit every year. the highest on-campus package is around 16lpa and the average is 8lpa. my plans after getting the degree are to get an MBA degree from an IIM by writing a cat exam and cracking it.
I took an entrance exam called GAT (Gitam admission test) which was held 5 times this year phase 1 phase 2 and phase 3 to phase 5. I got a rank of around 300 but I couldn't get a scholarship because the scholarships here are based on a first come first serve basis, so I didn't write the exam soon enough o get a scholarship. the admission process was pretty smooth but scholarships should be given to those candidates who are eligible and who are worth it rather than give it to those who just write their exam in the first phase.
