Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission, the candidates must possess a 10+2 qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with 60% aggregate marks.

GITAM University Bangalore B.Tech. Selection Criteria

Admissions will be based on the candidate's score in GITAM Admissions Test (GAT). GAT will be for the duration of two hours. The test will be for 400 marks (100 questions). All the questions will be in the Multiple Choice Questions form.

Subject wise distribution of the questions is tabulated below:

• Mathematics: 40
• Physics: 30
• Chemistry: 30

Note- 25% of seats in GAT will be reserved for brilliant students of Karnataka state for admission at the Bengaluru campus. Direct admission will be offered to all central & state board toppers.

To be eligible for admission, the candidates must possess a B.E/ B.Tech in any branch.

It also provides these courses on a part-time basis for the working professionals who aspire for doctoral programmes. The maximum duration of the Ph.D and M.Phil programmes are four years and two years respectively.
