Some papers need to be updated and should include topic related to current issues and more discussions are need to be conducted in the classroom that improves the critical thinking of the students. For Social Work course field exposure is very relevant and important to increase the knowledge of the trainee. But the department is not providing any field exposure to the trainees according to their specializations. The only field experience students are getting from the one month block placement/ internship, but that is not enough for the students.
The application process was easy. The eligibility is 50% in any degree from a university and the admission was according to the CUET entrance exam and the scores of CUET. Students should register and attent the CUET Social Work entrance test.
Read Full ReviewIm more interest in social work because of indepth involove in society and i can interact with peoples in rural areas . And learn about their life style. Read Full ReviewWhen I decided to choose this subject it had higher opportunities and good no of placement, with a handsome annual package. But now it has become saturated. Curriculum will help in civil engineering, mining, surveying and many more aspects. More knowledge should be given in teaching students about remote sensing and GIS. Frequency of exams is a semester in 4-5 month time. Difficulty level is higher compared to level of teaching.
I cleared cuet exam conducted by NTA. I logged into the university portal and registered and by my cut off marks I got admission as I was eligible. Reservations is 30%. Frequency of exams is one semester in every 4-5 month time and difficulty level is higher compared to level of teaching. Admission process needs to be improved as sometimes there is a network issue or server down seldom and money gets deducted but it doesn't reflect on the portal.
Read Full ReviewI will say that the course curriculum is good but in the 2nd year also there should be field work as we are geology students we need practical work but it's not there. Internship duration should be 2 months.
The reservation for SC and ST is good but the cut off is so low for them which is the worst thing. Being a general student, we work hard to achieve rank in exam but they are not studying properly and getting the seats which is why our flyovers are collapsing because of uneducated engineers who got admission due to low cut offs not because of their talent.
Read Full ReviewI like the Geology subject and central university of Karnataka is considered good for Geology subject. They took field in terms of field work. It is 9/10 in terms of practical.some teachers are good in teaching in geology subject. They need to improve the placement of geology subject.
Cuk provide reservation for sc st students. For general category students there is no reservations here. To take admission here one must apply online they will provide the form and with that form you have to submit the fees and also offline you have to submit the application form in admin office. The difficulty level of this exam is easy to moderate.
Read Full ReviewCourses curriculum is ok but it is more on theory based. Even though social work is a professional course, the field work hour is less. So the syllabus should need to be updated. The classes are good.
The admission process is through central university entrance test( cuet). The process was only based on that score and anyone who have degree can apply for msw. Cutoff was around 140 for OBC. There is no interview
Read Full ReviewThe chances are less but it does not mean that you cannot get admission. Securing a seat in CURAJ with 33 marks is difficult but you can easily get that in Central University of Punjab (CUPB).
During the first, second and third rounds of counseling, you may or may not get seats but after that the university conducts an open counseling and spot admission.
Every year, seats remain vacant in almost each and every course in CUPB. You may get a seat in the third round of counseling or after that in open counseling.
