I had chosen BA(Economics) as I thought it was my interest. When it comes to teaching, there is an efficient allocation of faculty. Every faculty had PhD in economics and UGC NET holder and some are even cleared JRF scholarship. The way they teach is so interactive and understandable. Exams were conducted once in 6 months and 2 internal tests every 6 months and the level of exams is medium enough to clear.
I felt the admission process was quite flexible in Central University of Karnataka. Actually, I applied for the CUET(Central University Entrance Test) which was conducted by the National Testing Agency in 2022. I went through some sort of difficulty during the application process as it was entirely new to me. Moreover, I didn't have any guidance which made my application process a bit difficult. As CUET was conducted for the first time, the cutoff was a bit low and it's been to get admission.
Read Full ReviewI had interest in psychology so I have chosen this. Faculty student ratio is good. We have good faculty here who teach very well. They are also very well experienced in the field. The PhD scholars are also very knowledgeable persons here. There are frequent fieldworks and some practical stuff here in the department itself. Internals are conducted strictly.
The admission process is very simple. You have to pay 500 for applying to the University. And the rest of the work is done by the University staff i.e., department that you've opted for. The cutoff here is low when compared to other private universities.

Read Full ReviewI have chosen this course which is economics (BA) at the central university of Karnataka because firstly I am interested and also my parents were satisfied with the course I have chosen and as per the suggestions of my previous teachers and my wishers they suggested me to stand on by my decision as it has a good demand in the society. The teaching faculty here were good. They were informative, they had a good teaching background and so much experience. They are so friendly to clarify our doubts too. The exams are conducted strictly and the pattern was better. The questions are answerable and related to our syllabus.
The admission was taken with the result of the all-India Central University level test which is the CUET exam. The exam is of two slots. The first slot contains the common paper which includes English and general tests. The second slot exam includes the domain papers which we can opt for a maximum of 3 to 6. I have opted for 3 domain papers and English and general tests. I scored well in the papers. Every university took the general test into consideration for the cut-off. I scored well in the general test which is 160 marks. I applied for counselling on Every individual website of Central University. So I got into Central University of Karnataka as well as others. A few, but I opted cuk. The admission process is so good. I think this process is fine but the complexity of the counselling procedure should be taken into consideration and made it easy.

During the first, second and third rounds of counseling, you may or may not get seats but after that the university conducts an open counseling and spot admission.
Every year, seats remain vacant in almost each and every course in CUPB. You may get a seat in the third round of counseling or after that in open counseling.
