- Central university of Karnataka have a good academic atmospher and faculties.
- It have moderate fee structure and its affordable
- It have a good infrastructure and ambience
Dislikes
- Cuk is situated in a rural area, its difficult to reach there
- Central university of Karnataka Administration is not so good
- Hostel food is not so good but accommodation is ok
Remarks :
The admission process is through central university entrance test( cuet). The process was only based on that score and anyone who have degree can apply for msw. Cutoff was around 140 for OBC. There is no interview
Course Curriculum Overview :
Courses curriculum is ok but it is more on theory based. Even though social work is a professional course, the field work hour is less. So the syllabus should need to be updated. The classes are good.
Internships Opportunities :
My department is proving one month internship program. In the 3rd sem, according to the specilization students can choose the agency. MPSW students can choose hospital settings, HR can choose companies and SD can choose NGOs

Campus Life :
The overall experience is ok but not so good. The campus is not an happening campus and sometimes its boring. Its in a rural area.. so we can get that exposure and can visit those areas. Overall its ok
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is good and have good facilities such as cupboard, bunker and study table. Hostel food is not good, eveytime daal is the main curry. Some of the students faces some stomach issues. But the food is adjustable.
Faculty :
Faculties in my department have good insight and they are well qualified. 2 of them are professors, 1 is associate professor and rest of the 6 are assistant professor and also everyone are having phD

Course Curriculum Overview :
Some papers need to be updated and should include topic related to current issues and more discussions are need to be conducted in the classroom that improves the critical thinking of the students. For Social Work course field exposure is very relevant and important to increase the knowledge of the trainee. But the department is not providing any field exposure to the trainees according to their specializations. The only field experience students are getting from the one month block placement/ internship, but that is not enough for the students.

Im more interest in social work because of indepth involove in society and i can interact with peoples in rural areas . And learn about their life style. In our university they were not providing fieldwork weekily and they only given in once in a semester . The department should give weekly fieldwork
