Step 1: Candidates should register themselves by filling the application forms available at the official website with all the relevant details. Candidates should upload the required documents such as recent size photograph, signature and other relevant certificates.
Step 2: Upon filling-in the application form, the candidate must pay the registration fee of INR 400 (for general and OBC candidates) and INR 200 (for SC/ST candidates) to complete the application process. The candidates can pay the fee through Bank Challan, generated upon submitting the form. The fees can be deposited in the State Bank of India (SBI) through any nationalized bank (NEFT mode).
Step 3: If the candidate is selected, he/she has to submit the printed application form and other documents at the time of admission which includes the following:
Aspirants seeking admission to 3-year Full-time Ph.D. Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
Candidate must have passed M.Phil. with coursework or Master's degree in different branches of Physics from any University/Institute recognized by the UGC / MHRD or foreign university (as per the AIU foreign equivalence list) with at least 55% marks.

The chances are less but it does not mean that you cannot get admission. Securing a seat in CURAJ with 33 marks is difficult but you can easily get that in Central University of Punjab (CUPB).
During the first, second and third rounds of counseling, you may or may not get seats but after that the university conducts an open counseling and spot admission.
Every year, seats remain vacant in almost each and every course in CUPB. You may get a seat in the third round of counseling or after that in open counseling.
