Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I always wanted to pursue something different, I was exceptionally good at putting up arguments and debates, and hence I selected this course to pursue my dream to become a Lawyer. The Faculty: Staff ratio was good, when I was in the college there were 400 students enrolled in the whole Law school, whereas the number of faculty was approx 150, hence I think the university was able to manage the said ratio nicely. The faculties were well qualified and had a handful of experience, we had a mix of highly experienced and young faculties, which helped the students to get a balanced learning environment. The faculties were always available for the students, and in case of any issues we had an open approach towards them, yes oviously there were a few politics and favoritism that used to happen, but they didn't have any major impact on the overall curriculum. Exams were on time and the criteria were also very strict, a minimum of 75% attendance was a must, otherwise, we were not allowed to.

Ques
How is the placement for executive PGDM from Alliance University?

● Top Answer By Indrajit Basak on 08 Apr 21

Ans
The placements are very poor for PGDM at Alliance University and one should do proper research and get some reviews before taking up this course. You should consider your benefits for the long term also. Categories Executive PGDM from Alliance University Course Fee 2.45 lakhs Course Duration 16 months Work Experience Required 24 months Average CTC 7.6 LPA Recruiting Companies Aditya Birla, Amazon, Bosch, Bridgestone, E&Y, IBM, KPMG, etc. Following are the reasons to avoid getting into Alliance University: The faculty of this university for this course is very poor and doesn't offer proper support to its students.  The course curriculum is not that great and is very outdated when compared to other popular colleges offering the same course. Doing this course from this university won't help you much as many companies don't acknowledge or appreciate it.  Companies don't treat the employees as nicely, so if you're planning to do PGDM, try doing it from any other top universities where you will get much respect and recognition which you truly deserve. During admissions, they will surely promise great placements in top companies and will tell you a lot of good things about their college and environment, but they will be just fooling you around.

Ques
Which college is the best for an MBA, Alliance University Bangalore, AIMS Bangalore, or Jaipuria Institute of Management?

● Top Answer By Sandip Roy on 17 Jun 21

Ans
It is best to avoid all the three colleges if possible. If you have the chance then you should definitely ignore all the three colleges listed here and aim for a higher percentile in the next CAT. Look at MBA as an investment. Not only it is expensive but also time-consuming. So if you are not getting job security or a well-paying job after spending lakhs of rupees on your degree, then the education may not be worth it. It will become just another degree in your CV. So score well in CAT or get a good percentile in MAT (97 percentile or above) so that you can get some tier-I MBA colleges such as - Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education (SIMSREE) PUMBA – University of Pune XIME Bangalore BIMTECH Noida Great Lakes Institute of Management (GLIM), Chennai IFMR – Graduate School of Business – Krea University Apart from those above you could also try for these institutes- XIME Kochi NIBM Pune IMT Nagpur MDI Murshidabad (growing rapidly) IPE Hyderabad Try to score high in your next CAT or MAT exam to secure admission in some of these colleges listed above and keep Alliance, AIMS, Jaipuria as your last resort.

Ques
Would people recommend Alliance University for a BBA?

● Top Answer By Rashika Saraf on 30 May 21

Ans
A relative of mine is an alumnus of Alliance University and he is not sure about recommending the institute as a suitable option for academics.  If you study in this institute it can give causes for uncertainty. There are a lot of options you can look for. International business is offered as a major in MBA. But it fails to attract a sizable number of students to its campus. This goes for Alliance University in general as well.  If your goal is to join a business school then this university should not be on your list. There are far better business schools in the country. There is no entrepreneurship specialization either in Alliance University.  Categories BBA at Alliance University Course Fee 6 lakh Highest CTC 7.2 LPA Average CTC 5-6 LPA Recruiting Companies Byju’s, Federal Bank, Amazon, Nestle, etc. My cousin got trapped in the infrastructure of the university. The surroundings are not safe as the university is practically located in a village. The security staff is very ill-mannered.
