Kashmir University BA LLB admission 2024 is open now. The last date to apply is May 30, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website @kashmiruniversity.net. Admission to the BALLB program is based on Kashmir University Entrance Test (KUET). To be admitted to BA LLB program a candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board. BA-LLB is a five year integrated program. The total intake capacity is 50 seats+15 self-finance seats. It contains both law courses as well as non-law courses. The non-law courses include International, Constitutional, Family, Corporate, Labour, Environmental, Administrative, Human Rights and Local Laws. New law courses such as Media and Law, Forensic Science and Law, Journalism, Mass Communication, Biodiversity, Health Care, Educational, International Criminal, Competition Law etc., have been introduced in the last five years. Ques: What if the students qualify for more than one reservation category for the Kashmir University BA LLB program?
Ans: If the students are under more than one category, they will get the option for choosing only one of the categories mentioned in the prospectus.
Ques: Which entrance exam is required to qualify for the Kashmir University BA LLB program?
Ans: Applicants are selected on the basis of the Kashmir University Entrance Test-KUET. The last date to register for the test will be released soon.
Ques: Is BA LLB better than LLB at Kashmir University?
Ans: BA-LLB is a five year integrated course whereas LLB is a three year course. For admission to BA LLB, a pass in 12th standard exam with minimum of 45% is required. But for LLB the student should complete their bachelor degree. Both courses have their own importance.
Ques: Will I get a refund if I leave Kashmir University BA LLB program after enrolling?
Ans: If a student doesn't want to join the programme, they can seek a refund. Full paid amount can be refunded only when the student claims for a refund 15 days before the late date of admission. 80% of the amount is refunded when the student claims for refunded after 15 days of joining. 50% of the amount is refunded when the student claims for a refund between 15 to 30 days after joining. No refund will be made after more than 30 days of joining the programme.

I have a few friends from both universities and according to their reviews, Kashmir University is definitely the best in Kashmir. Especially for the non-management courses. The quality of academics at the institute is unparalleled.
Although the business school is treated as the crown of the institute there is a lack of entrepreneurial minds and placement opportunities. This is the only reason the university lags behind for management courses. However, other streams like Engineering, Medical, Arts, Humanities, Computer Science are great.
The campus is located at the heart of Srinagar, near the famous Dal Lake. The campus is green and has urban infrastructure. Overall, the University of Kashmir can be a great option for pursuing your course.
I have a few friends from the University of Kashmir. According to their experience, it is not a good option for pursuing an integrated BBA-MBA course. After completing the degree, you will want good placement opportunities. However, the University of Kashmir does not offer any placement opportunities. You will end up searching for bank jobs.
