MSU Baroda is a decent college for girls. All the departments have many girls. Some faculties like Home Science are predominantly all girls. The faculty of Commerce which is the largest faculty at MSU has a separate unit for only girls.
The best feature of MSU is that although a girl student can get admission to another co-ed unit of the faculty, they also have the option to study in a girls-only unit. Hence MSU is perfectly safe for girls.
In fact, to keep girls in the limelight in all areas, the post of vice president in student union elections is reserved for girls only.
One of my friends recently graduated from MSU Baroda. Let me share some of the points she mentioned about the college, which might also help go through your first year of college.
Overall it is a really nice place. In your first year you will get to interact with lots of students and will also have enough time to explore the place. After your first year the pressure of the studies increases so, it is suggested that you explore most during your first year.
Candidates who want to pursue BCA from MSU Baroda can apply online with the required information. Eligible candidates need to appear for the entrance test conducted by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Admission is based on the marks obtained in the entrance test.
Admission to the B. Com (Honors) is done on the basis of the merit of the aggregate marks secured by students in 12th (H.S.S.C.) Examination.
So, B.Com does not require any specific entrance exam while BCA does.
