IIM Ahmedabad Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX) is a 1-year Full-time Program. Admission is based on Bachelor’s Degree, GMAT / GRE Scores & Work Experience. Candidates should have completed Minimum age of 25 Years as on March 31, 2024. The Program Fee for 2024 PGPX batch is INR 31,50,000.

IIM Ahmedabad MBA - PGPX Selection Criteria

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline. (Minimum 15 years of study as per the education system in India i.e. 10 + 2 + 3 or 4 as the case may be.)
Minimum 4 Years of Full-time Work Experience.
A Valid GMAT / GRE Score.

IIM Ahmedabad MBA - PGPX Admission Process

IIM Ahmedabad MBA - PGPX Admission Process is conducted in 2 stages, they are as follows:

Step 1:

In the 1st Stage, the Candidates are Shortlisted for the Personal Interview based on their Valid GMAT / GRE Scores.

Stage 2:

Shortlisted Candidates will be Interviewed by a panel of IIMA faculty members. The panel will evaluate the Candidate on Professional Background, Quality of Experience, Progression in Career, Academic Preparedness, Leadership Potential, Accomplishment and Interpersonal Skills.

IIM Ahmedabad PGPX Admission: How to Apply?

Application forms for the PGPX program can be filled out online by visiting the official website of IIMA. To fill PGPX application form, Check the steps given below:

Click on Apply online.
Fill in all the fields and provide valid GRE/ GMAT scores.
Now, provide a valid email address and mobile number for future communications.
Pay the application fee of INR 5000 (1st Round) / INR 7500 (2nd Round) and submit the application form.

Ans. PGPX course of both IIM can be compared based on program fee and placement statistics in recent years. For IIM Ahmedabad, the total payable fee is INR 31.5 Lakhs. On the contrary, the total payable fee for IIM Calcutta PGPEX-VLM course is INR 13.90 Lakhs. The IIMA PGPX batch 2022 recorded highest domestic CTC of INR 75.2 LPA. In 2021, the required cutoff for IIM Ahmedabad was 99-100. But just scoring 100 percentile in CAT, won’t get you an interview call. You must satisfy the eligibility criteria in terms of 10th, 12th, Graduation marks, and CAT percentile. The shortlist for an interview is made by considering past academic performance and CAT percentile. So, if your past academic record is poor, you may not get a call for an interview, even with a 100 percentile.

Life at IIM Ahmedabad is much more than academics. A typical day on the campus starts around 8:15 am for most students. They usually grab something to eat on their way to class. The lectures start at 8:45 am sharp. If you are late, you won’t be able the attend your lecture that day. Lectures go on till 1:10 pm. Students spend around 45 minutes wondering whether they have a surprise quiz that day or not. The notification regarding the surprise quiz comes around 1:45 pm from the academic office. Students who get quizzes start last min prep. Others enjoy their lunch. Quiz usually goes on till 3:15 pm. During afternoon, some take a nap, some students engage in club activities or sports. After dinner, students do their assignments, group projects, class preparation for the next day. This usually takes up until 2 am, even some more time on certain days. This is how the cycle repeats.
