Course Description

Central University of Gujarat Ph.D. Admissions 2023 is ongoing currently. The third merit list of selected candidates has been released and the last date of submission of any of the pending documents/certificates is 20th January 2023. Admissions to the Ph.D. programs are made on the basis of entrance test and interview conducted by the university. Central University of Gujarat offers full-time Ph.D. programs in 15 specializations that include Economics, Social Management, International Politics, Security Studies, Comparative Literature, & many more. The minimum eligibility is a Master’s degree with 55% marks, in a relevant field.

Central University of Gujarat Ph.D. Admission Guidelines

The admission is done on the basis of a two-tier system (Written test and interview), prescribed by the UGC.
A weightage of 70% will be given to the entrance test and 30% to the performance of the interview.
In the interview, the candidates have to discuss research interests or areas before a duly constituted selection committee.

The final list of selected students will be released by the University based on the counseling
