The program is spread over eight semesters with each semester being of six months. For the B.Pharm course, examination and evaluation are done on a continuous basis throughout each semester. The weightage is given as 60% marks of each Theory and Practical paper in a semester allotted to End-Semester Examination and 40% marks are allotted to In-Semester Examination/ Assessment. End-Semester Examination is held at the end of each Semester. Course work includes both Theory and Practicals. Theory consists of lectures and/or tutorials, and Practicals consist of hours spent in the lab. The total credits are 209 and the minimum credit points required to be awarded a B. Pharm. degree is 208. Students need to complete a compulsory project work in their last semester to be awarded 12 credit units. 1 credit unit is allotted for extracurricular activities. Alongside academics, you would be left with enough time to excel through various extra-curricular activities. The annual tech fest “Auxesis” is held every odd semester and the University Week is held every even semester. The workload becomes exhausting during these semesters.
The campus is serene and splendid. The greenery everywhere brings out the best of the serene beauty and creates an enthusiastic environment for studying. Overall, your college time here would be terrific.
