Candidate must have completed M A TESL/M A English (TESL)/M A English with a minimum of one course in ELT with an average minimum of 55% or B+ based upon EFLU’s grading system (50% for SC/ST). OR He/she must have secured A pass in Semester 1 of PGDTE or an examination of equivalent value with a GPA of 3.00 without an E grade OR He/she must have completed PGCTE from CIEFL/EFL University and must have secured a minimum GPA of 3.00 without an E grade OR He/she should have completed M Phil in English Language Education OR He/she is appearing for the above-mentioned examination and would have completed the same by admission time. |

Ph.D. Linguistics and Phonetics |
Candidate must have completed their post-graduation Linguistics/ Phonetics/ Applied Linguistics. OR Candidate must have completed their post-graduation or M.Phil. in English with additional specialization in Linguistics and Phonetics. He/she must have secured a minimum GPA of 3.50 or an average minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST). OR Candidate must have completed their PGCTE/DTE with the required background* in Linguistics and Phonetics) with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
