Under PG domain, the University offers M.Sc., Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D, MCA, Integrated MCA-Ph.D, MBA, M.Arch, M.Pharm, MA, and MA-Ph.D, Postgraduate in Advertising, Design, and Digital Communication, M.Tech and Integrated M.Tech-Ph.D.
Also the University offers several research-oriented Ph.D programs, 29 specializations for full-time courses, and 29 for part-time Ph.D. programs. Admissions are basically done on academic as well as entrance exam score and application form for the same will be available online on the official website.
- For B.Sc, BA, MA, Integrated MA-Ph.D, Dual BA-MA, B.Com, M.Com, Integrated M.Com-Ph.D, Integrated B.Com-M.Com and Dual B.Sc.-M.Sc., the candidate must produce valid score card of TNJEE

A candidate seeking admission to B.Tech and B.Arch UG degree programme, must have passed HSC/10+2 exam with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. He/she should have studies English along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
For Diploma in Engineering and Integrated B.Tech course, a candidate must have passed 10th from a recognised Board with science and mathematics as compulsory subjects.

There was an admission test that I had to sit for and based on the scores they choose. I found the advertisement in a local newspaper and contacted the college for admissions but now you can get the form on their website. There are no reservation criteria.

Then we talked about my admission in BCA course. There is a eligibility criteria of 60 percent in both 10th and 12th class. That's it.

Heritage is a very good institute if pursuing CSE is your goal. If we talk about the ranking of the private institutes in West Bengal, then IEM (Institute of Engineering and Management) is the best in the state, followed by Heritage Institute of Technology. Techno India Salt Lake is third in the ranking.
Heritage Institute of Technology will give you a lot of opportunities.
The coders in the institute can compete with some of the best in the country.
The environment of the place is also very good.

If I want to go into Techno India or the Heritage Institute of Technology of West Bengal through the management quota then how much money may I be asked to pay?
Ans
Taking donation money depends on how many seats are available. The donation fee will be high for the streams that have a lot of demand.
However, if there are seats that are vacant, you can try spot counseling and you will not be charged at all for this except for the fee required for admission.
The money that you might be asked to pay can vary depending on the financial situation of the candidates. Getting in touch with the management facility will help you in getting a clear idea. Keep in mind, however, that people who opted for the management quota had to pay huge amounts of money.
Almost 10% of the seats were kept aside for management quota candidates and they are given on the basis of ‘first come first’. Some people got admitted without paying anything at all except for the admission fee and some had to pay huge amounts of money to get in.
Another thing about getting admission through quota is you may lag behind your peers. Even if you do get admission, a lot depends on you as well.

All three colleges, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Techno India Salt Lake Sector V, and Haldia Institute of Technology are very popular colleges to pursue ECE. After careful consideration, I would say that Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE) is the best among the others mentioned.
Dayananda Sagar is now an autonomous college and there are a lot of facilities available for the students.
The placement opportunities available are excellent. Many reputed companies visit the campus for interviews. Being located in Bangalore, it has a location advantage.
Industry visits, seminars, and internships are plenty. This can be a very good opportunity to gain some work experience and knowledge.

I have friends from both the University Institute of Technology Burdwan and Techno India Salt Lake, and according to their opinion, the latter is slightly better.
Burdwan University:
University Institute of Technology, Burdwan is a government-run engineering institute. The university is affiliated with the University of Burdwan and has NBA accreditation.
It charges around 71,000 annually.
The infrastructure of the institute is good. It has a huge campus. Library, playground, and hostels are on campus.
The placement record is average. According to the recent placement highlights the highest CTC offered at the institute is 12-20 LPA, while the lowest stays in the range of 5-6 LPA.
The industry exposure you will get on campus is also quite limited. As it is located pretty far away from the major industrial sectors located at Kolkata.
Techno India:
Techno India Salt Lake is a private college affiliated with WBUT. The total course fee at the institute is around 4.84 lakhs.
It does not offer hostel facilities. Additionally, the campus is smaller in size.
However, the academic environment at the institute is pretty commendable, unlike many other private engineering colleges.
The placement percentage is about 80% to 90%. The average CTC offered is around 4-5 LPA. While the highest CTC offered is 12-14 LPA.
The industrial exposure offered is average.
It hosts the second-biggest tech fest only following IIT Kharagpur.
