Based on your personal education experience, you recommend that if you have the choice between IMSEC Ghaziabad and UPES Dehradun, you should choose IMSEC. However, if you have received a specialization in CCVT from UPES, then you should consider attending UPES. The reasons why IMSEC is the better choice are:
LNCT Bhopal is better than JP Guna. Here are the reasons why.
All the important aspects students look out for while choosing a college like facilities, academics, and placement are better at LNCT, compared to JP Guna.
One of my former teachers used to be a student of LNCT Bhopal and in her opinion, the institute has one of the best placement records in Central India as the students often get offers from giants such as Cognizant, CSC, Wipro, Infogain, TCS, etc.
If you want to start your career in IT then LNCT Bhopal will be an excellent choice. It will open a plethora of opportunities for you and a lot of the students got placed in more than one company.
However, if your aim is to have a career that is more research-oriented after your graduation then you will only be able to pursue your goals in government institutions.
The highest package offered to the students of LNCT was by Microsoft this year. It was a package of INR 27 LPA.
The latest placement record of JUET Guna showed that the highest package offered was by Gojek. INR 28 LPA was offered.
SRM Vadapalani is any day better than JUET Guna. After discussing with some students of these colleges, I can say that, even though JUET has an amazing placement record and infrastructure, SRM has a bigger brand value than the Jaypee group.
Categories | SRM Vadapalani | JUET Guna |
Course Fee | 9.1 lakhs | 7.28 lakhs |
Highest CTC | 28 LPA | 20 LPA |
Average CTC | 10-12 LPA | 9 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | TCS, Google, IBM, Wipro, etc. | Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, HCL, etc. |
To sum up, SRM must be your first preference among the two. It offers you a better opportunity, exposure, and placements. The quality of teaching is amazing. Overall SRM gives you a better ROI for the fee you pay.
In terms of Civil engineering, both the colleges, JUIT Solan and JUET Gunaare good colleges to learn from and for overall development. But the latter comparatively has an edge over the former.
Academics:
JUET Guna campus is sprawled in multiple folds, over more than 125 acres. The civil engineering lab at JUET GUNA is more equipped than JUIT Solan from what I have heard from many of my seniors. Due to the much bigger campus, you can use up the instruments more efficiently.
Placements:
As far as the placement is concerned, both are nearly the same. If you want to go to a non-core Job you can easily get it with good effort or else if you opt for core jobs then they conduct pool campus drives specifically at different locations.
Here’s a brief comparison of the Civil Engineering course offered by the institutes.
Parameters | JUIT Solan | JUET Guna |
Fees | INR 95,000 | INR 2.06 LPA |
Placement Average | 70% | 72% |
Average CTC | INR 5 LPA | INR 3.75 LPA |
Going by the factors mentioned above it is safe to say that JUET Guna will be a better choice for Civil Engineering.
If you're considering pursuing Computer Science Engineering or Computer Applications, you should give preference to ITM University over Amity or Jaypee Guna. Here are some reasons why:
In summary, ITM University is a great choice for anyone who wants to pursue Computer Science Engineering or Computer Applications. With excellent faculty members, well-equipped labs, and opportunities for research and development, ITM University provides an excellent learning experience to its students. Moreover, its excellent placement record and collaboration with numerous MNCs make it an attractive option for students seeking good career opportunities after graduation.
Both Haldia Institute of Technology and JUET Guna are quite similar in terms of the infrastructure they offer, curriculum, and quality of teaching. If you have to pick the best out of two, HIT Haldia weighs slightly more than JUET-Guna.
Following are the few points to back the preference of HIT Haldia:
Categories | Civil at HIT Haldia | Civil at JUET Guna |
Course Fee | 3.95 lakhs | 7.28 lakhs |
Highest CTC | 15 LPA | 12 LPA |
Average CTC | 7-8 LPA | 7-8 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | Ambuja Cement, IOCL, L&T, Simplex, etc. | Aricent, L&T, SAP, JK Lakshmi Cement, etc. |
These are a few perks of choosing Haldia institute of technology over JUET Guna. But in the end, it's your preference, so opt for the best for yourself.

Here are the brief details of B.Tech (CSE) of Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology. Now it depends on you, whether or not to opt for it.
On an overall scale, JUIT is the best option among these. It has an excellent faculty base. JUIT placements are good. Students of the institute receive an average CTC of around INR 5.67 LPA. While the highest CTC offered through campus placements is around INR 32 LPA. Infosys, Amazon, Google, etc. were among the top recruiters for JUIT.
When considering pursuing a computer science engineering (CSE) course, it can be difficult to choose between different universities. Both Amity University and JUET are private universities promoted by major business houses in India. Here are some key points to consider:
Based on these points, it may be better to choose Amity University over JUET for a CSE course. Amity University offers greater exposure to industry and a curriculum designed for maximum student benefit, including foreign language options and excellent facilities.
