Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a science and computer student, I have a great interest in engineering and computer science, also my father wants me to be an engineer so I opted for this course. The faculty of our college is quite good, many of our professors are IITian/NITian. They are very desperate about teaching and providing valuable education. Also, every student is provided with a mentor in the College who look after any problems and difficulties faced by any students and try to solve them. All the professors have a Ph.D. in their respective subjects and most of the professors are IITian/ NITian and have great skills of teaching. The best thing I like about my college is it's examination process. Basically, our college used to take 3 tests in a semester, First exam(T1) is for 15 marks, the second (T2) is for 25 marks and the third (T3) is for 35 marks and the students are judged our the results of all the three tests. Also, the College has criteria for giving extra marks on the basis of good attendance.

I always wanted to choose CSE because I have a great interest in programming. The faculties present here are good enough to make you able to understand and go through your whole engineering study phase. Some of the faculties are highly qualified, some are from IIT's and some teachers studied in foreign. If we talk about exams, I can say that exams are not that tough if you manage to study the tutorial questions provided by faculty members.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty: student ratio is very high for core subjects and for some subjects there are no students in eg chemical engineering. Qualification of the faculties are perfect but their dedication to teaching student is not good The teaching method is not at all good they just focus on the quantity and not the quality of studying. The term exams were held on a regular basis and in a short period of time so which gives less time for preparation they give only 1 month for the preparation and the paper is just easy they give tutorials and the paper comes from that only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well designed and implemented throughout the graduation. It is all preplanned which topics we are going to study in our particular course duration. Courses for each semester are divided into credits and any student can access the course curriculum via the website. I opted for electronics and communication eng. as I am interested in electronics since childhood. There are almost 15-20 faculty members in the electronics dept. All the faculties are Ph.D. qualified and well knowledgeable. The teaching method is student-friendly. We have good relations with our teachers and mentors. PPTs are also used when needed otherwise the whole subject is taught with a board and markers. The semster is divided into 3 exmas. T1 T2 and T3 and passing them are not much difficult if you prepare well.

Ques
Which college is better JUET Guna,UPES,IMS Ghaziabad,if i have CSE at all three places?

● Top Answer By Hardik Nagar on 02 Mar 23

Ans
Based on your personal education experience, you recommend that if you have the choice between IMSEC Ghaziabad and UPES Dehradun, you should choose IMSEC. However, if you have received a specialization in CCVT from UPES, then you should consider attending UPES. The reasons why IMSEC is the better choice are: IMSEC is located in the National Capital Region, which is a hub for startups, networking, and connecting with like-minded individuals. The location provides great opportunities to build a strong resume and gain industrial exposure. In comparison, Dehradun and Guna are relatively isolated. The fees at IMSEC are significantly lower than at UPES, offering a better return on investment. Both IMSEC and UPES are considered to be tier 3 colleges, meaning that students are likely to be placed in companies such as Infosys or Wipro. However, with hard work, skill-building, and networking, students have the potential to secure better job opportunities with product-based companies like Amazon, Flipkart, or Microsoft. UPES Dehradun has a higher number of attractive female students, compared to IMSEC and Jaypee Guna. However, it should be noted that there are plenty of attractive girls in Delhi as well. Ultimately, IMSEC is the better choice (unless you have received the specialization in CCVT from UPES).

Ques
Which one is better, LNCT Bhopal or JP Guna?

● Top Answer By Shivani Ghose on 21 Sept 21

Ans
LNCT Bhopal is better than JP Guna. Here are the reasons why.  Placement is amazing at LNCT Bhopal in comparison with that of JP Guna. Most of the companies prefer to visit LNCT instead of JP Guna because of everything that the city of Bhopal has to offer.  The top recruiters at LNCT include Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant whereas the top recruiters of JP Guna are Cisco, DE Shaw, SAP Labs, Intuit, and Cognizant.  The city of Bhopal would also provide you with an adequate amount of resources for your college life and in case you wish to prepare for a competitive examination during your course.  There are many coaching institutes in Bhopal that offer assistance for competitive examinations like GATE, GMAT, CAT, etc.  The cost of courses at JP Guna is also higher than that of LNCT.  The students at LNCT are also offered the opportunity to participate in workshops and events throughout the academic sessions. All the important aspects students look out for while choosing a college like facilities, academics, and placement are better at LNCT, compared to JP Guna.

Ques
Which is better for computer science: JUET Guna or LNCT Bhopal?

● Top Answer By Tanishk Bajoria on 23 Sept 21

Ans
One of my former teachers used to be a student of LNCT Bhopal and in her opinion, the institute has one of the best placement records in Central India as the students often get offers from giants such as Cognizant, CSC, Wipro, Infogain, TCS, etc.  If you want to start your career in IT then LNCT Bhopal will be an excellent choice. It will open a plethora of opportunities for you and a lot of the students got placed in more than one company. However, if your aim is to have a career that is more research-oriented after your graduation then you will only be able to pursue your goals in government institutions. The highest package offered to the students of LNCT was by Microsoft this year. It was a package of INR 27 LPA. The latest placement record of JUET Guna showed that the highest package offered was by Gojek. INR 28 LPA was offered.

Ques
Which is better SRM Vadapalani or JUET Guna?

● Top Answer By Sakshi Agarwal on 26 Jul 21

Ans
SRM Vadapalani is any day better than JUET Guna. After discussing with some students of these colleges, I can say that, even though JUET has an amazing placement record and infrastructure, SRM has a bigger brand value than the Jaypee group. SRM has highly qualified faculties with few of them having prior industrial experiences. They strive to keep the environment of SRM highly competitive. You will definitely get a better crowd at SRM where there is a high level of peer-to-peer learning when compared to JUET. Placement statistics of SRM speak for themselves. Even in location, academic curriculum, and campus infrastructure wise SRM leads the list. The only factor that favors JUET Guna is if you don't prefer to study down south on SRM main campus. In that case, you can still opt for CSE at JUET which has a decent placement. The average CTC there stands at 11 LPA. But it's not the same in the case of other branches. Categories SRM Vadapalani JUET Guna Course Fee 9.1 lakhs 7.28 lakhs Highest CTC 28 LPA 20 LPA Average CTC 10-12 LPA 9 LPA Recruiting Companies TCS, Google, IBM, Wipro, etc. Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, HCL, etc. To sum up, SRM must be your first preference among the two. It offers you a better opportunity, exposure, and placements. The quality of teaching is amazing. Overall SRM gives you a better ROI for the fee you pay.

Ques
Which is better, JUIT Solan or JUET Guna, for civil engineering?

● Top Answer By Sahil Pratap Nayak on 17 Jul 21

Ans
In terms of Civil engineering, both the colleges, JUIT Solan and JUET Gunaare good colleges to learn from and for overall development. But the latter comparatively has an edge over the former. Academics: JUET Guna campus is sprawled in multiple folds, over more than 125 acres. The civil engineering lab at JUET GUNA is more equipped than JUIT Solan from what I have heard from many of my seniors. Due to the much bigger campus, you can use up the instruments more efficiently. Placements: As far as the placement is concerned, both are nearly the same. If you want to go to a non-core Job you can easily get it with good effort or else if you opt for core jobs then they conduct pool campus drives specifically at different locations. Here’s a brief comparison of the Civil Engineering course offered by the institutes. Parameters JUIT Solan JUET Guna Fees INR 95,000 INR 2.06 LPA Placement Average 70% 72% Average CTC INR 5 LPA INR 3.75 LPA Going by the factors mentioned above it is safe to say that JUET Guna will be a better choice for Civil Engineering.
