Among the IPU other colleges including MAIT,MSIT,BVCOE,BPIT are among my 1st choice but in all such colleges i was getting ECE which was not my interest. I just only want to get CSE so that's the primary reason behind opting VIPS. Secondary reason was that the kind of labs, faculties, infrastructure VIPS is having is such great compared to others. Also VIPS is doing very well compared to other colleges in the field of other professional degrees like LLB,BCA,MBA etc. so mine idea was the companies are visiting the college so it may also help me to get right opportunity , henceforth for that I should also require good skiils.

For Admission requirement is JEE MAINS score card and score good enough to get the college. Also the admission process one have to register on the IPU site for choice filling and submitting the details so that the college may get allotted. Most preferred course for this college is CSE core and its allied ones. Percentile for open categories of Delhi domicile require minimum of 90 percentile for CSE core or for allied branch is 82 percentile or above. For reserved categories it is well low than 80 percentile for CSE core and allied from Delhi domicile. Students also get admission on the basis of Management quota. where they have to pay certain amount of money to college.
it totally depends upon how attentive a student is in class. Most of the students don't fail in exams although there is small percentage of students who fails in exams. There are 23 exams during first year. approx 4-5 classes each of 1.5 hours since it is residential program students are free after 5:00 pm case based classes along with ppts devansh sharma who taught me strategic management. minimum attendance criteria is 80% and there is grade loss of .2 gpa for every class you miss

The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness, was choose the MBA in corporate. the course curriculum and teaching methods was very easy. the timing of exams winter and summer semister
course curriculum is well designed and covers most of the important topics. It helps in building good basics but I feel more practical exposure and industry related subjects should be added. Exams are held every semester with internals and if you study regularly they are not too difficult to clear.

As my course is SOCIOLOGY HONOURS this course needs a lot of field work which is not properly conducted by the college and i think that should be changed but still because of the professors it becomes easy to make the most out of the disciplines that you are choosing.
I'm pursuing Political Science Hons at Miranda House College and it was my first preference. I had interest in this subject from school times and I had always scores well in this subject. Since PSIR is one of the popular and trending optionals for upsc I had opted for this course and it's contemporary nature makes it relevant in day to life too. The exams are held semester wise on 6 months. There is need of improvement in the examination pattern. Instead of giving questions from pyqs only they should ask for some practical and new contemporary questions.
There are a large amount of course you can choose from in the school of open learning. I personally chose English honours as I was interested in the literature and mythological stories. The curriculum doesn't give you any exposure as there are classes only in Sundays so all the weekend you're on your own. I would suggest to improve the availability of the teachers and fix the teacher to students ratio
I don't have much information about placements as our course rarely provide placement opportunities as people take this course to get eligible to entrance exams or to build a base for pg courses like law One can opt for exams and further studies after this course
