Remarks :
Because this college provides me the best suited courses according to me and i opted for this college just for this reason. I've applied for many colleges but found this college relevant by comparing it's rating amaong the other institutes. The admission process is quiet simple as you just have to apply onto the SRM admission portal and it's enough and done!
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is quiet good but the teachers are not up to the mark. The teachers don't have knowledge even of their own field and due to this reason many of the students feels disappointed which is very much bad. Good Faculty members should be hired. The curriculum is old though it's pretty good. The exams held 2 times a year (semester-wise)
Internships Opportunities :
Last year they have provided the internship from the companies like - The Math Co , Infosys , TCS but this year they denied and ask us to find internships on our own which is quiet bad. There is a project semester in the end which is compulsary for everyone to clear which is a good thing.
Placement Experience :
The placements are good but onlu for the B.tech CS branch otherwise there are no placements in the college. My exposure for this college is very bad , last year from MCA only 3 to 4 students got placed among 200+ students. They shows 100% placement but on ground it just went upto 20-25% only.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Fee for the course currently i'm pursuing is 1,10,000 and it excludes the Registration and Admission fee. Registration Fee - 10,000 Admission Fee - 1,200 There is no Scholarship available in SRM college but some financial aids are available from the Govt. of Tamilnadu so you can be benifitted from them if youy were eligible
Campus Life :
My overall experience about this college is worst , there are no technical and annual fests. Library - Talking about the library , Best. Almost all of the required books are available and it's very much spacious.
Faculty :
The faulty to student ratio is 1 for 200 students which is quiet disappointed. The relationship of student & Teacher is also not that much good. There are two times exams in a year excluding the practical examinations.

I feel the course curriculum at VIT Vellore is relevant and covers both theory and practical concepts well. It includes lab work, projects, and electives, which help in building skills required for internships and placements. We have two CAT exams and one final exam every semester, and the difficulty level is moderate if you study regularly. I think the curriculum could be improved by including more industry-based projects and hands-on learning instead of focusing on theory in a few subjects.

Curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for that grade, and a a timeline to follow so the year will be completed. Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone.

Then using each heading, I would discuss the relative values and drawbacks of each component. Such as, to what extent were the learning objectives successfully completed by the students. What and why were there difficulties in completing them? Next for the course content, I would discuss and analyse the content of the curriculum. What were the subject areas covered and why? What changes were made in the course content and why? What levels of course content was used and why were these levels used? Was the amount of content sufficient, too little, or too much? Etc And so on, working through the headings. Asking appropriate questions that help to evaluate the whole curriculum and who uses it.An evaluation of an existing curriculum will focus on the key components of the curriculum. i.e. Aims and objectives, course content, teaching and learning methods, the assessment and evaluation methods. Inherent in all the components is the experiences and learning of the students.

They will conduct a mock test and they will categorized the students based upon marks and the will provide internship and they will provide placements and we need to showcase out talent to place in that company
